Meh, a fairly underwhelming finale, as expected. It was disappointing that the runway shows were all edited together with stock music rather than the American/Canadian way of showing them with the designer's music choices, which really do affect the way the collections are received. Anyway, I ended up agreeing with the judges decision - I would have wanted Leigh to win if it was a personality contest, and some of his pieces were really good but I didn't like all the weird distracting epilets on his dresses and the ridiculous menswear (the part the judges thought was commercial and saleable ). Juli's definitely wasn't exciting, but it was well-constructed and I didn't actually dislike any of it like I did the other two, so good for her I guess.

But thank fuck Petrova finished in third. Did anyone else think it was kinda creepy when the male judge said her stuff had a raw sexuality that was almost childlike? Paedo alert.

And they made the right choice showing the reunion last, because that was a hell of a lot more entertaining than the hour before it. I loved Lui's zen master bit and everything involving Leigh, he's hilarious. But Marc's voice still drives me crazy.
