Hehe. My second son nursed until he was 16 months old, so I took it a little longer than a year. I didn't ever do it in public (nttawwt).

La Leche league members are pretty militant about breastfeeding, or so I've heard. A good friend warned me NOT to call them if I had questions, because
once they latched on (pun intended), they never let go.
