It plays just like the book, almost to the letter. I love Tara.
Since the first season is based entirely on the first book, i'm really looking forward to it, probably MUCH more than those who haven't read it. Sookie was perfectly cast, and love seeing William Sanderson again. It's gonna be much gorier and more sexual as it progresses. |

that, not really interested in the characters or plot. It's a great idea but the execution was boring as hell.

HBO's got another flop on their hands. It might be a marginal enough hit to woo some Buffy nerds and have a second season, but that's it. I was pretty
bored the whole way through and Six Feet Under is one of my all time favorite dramas...

I kinda liked it. The cast is hot, there were some funny moments, the sexy scenes were pretty scintillating, and it laid out the premise well. Not spectacular
award winning HBO TV, but it piqued my interest.

It was soooooo boring. I agree that for a show about vampires, they focused way too much time on ass backwards southerns. The angry black chick is NO Wanda Sykes. Good try writers. If anything, she over did it. The gay cook stole the scenes and needs a show of his own. Arn't vampires supposed to be pretty good looking and sexually desireable? WTF was up with the redneck vampire? The one that kept coming to the bar looked like a pale, weak city bum. Paquin is really pretty, but she's gotta do somethin about that GAP. None of the southern accents were the same. Too distracting. Are we going to see the same ole people in the same ole little town, in the same ole bar, doing and saying the same ole things? Strangers will come and go and each week the gimmick is that one of the stranger causes problems or gets in trouble? The angry chick gonna insult and curse everyone out? The owner gonna never tell Paquin how he really feels and keeps it bottled inside? More of the same dumbass backwards characters doing stupid shit every week? WHERE ARE THE VAMPIRES?! |
