I love how they have the set up so that we can suspect many different people for killing LaFayette, because that has to be the "mystery" to be solved in season 2 (a la book 2). I'm guessing it's going to go back to the senator/congressman-elect guy, though, and that they will somehow weave in the story from book 2 to a degree. LaFayette's been missing 2 weeks and that foot looked too pretty to have been dead for two weeks. So, maybe LaFayette was held captive for two weeks in some kinky sex-related way before finally being offed. Just a guess. Although, I would LOVE him to be a vamp so we don't lose him so soon. But I doubt it. I think he's definitely dead, but we should see a lot of him next season in flashbacks and stuff, so at least we should get a little more LaFayette . . . (hopes)

I LOVE the addition of Jessica and can't wait to see her misbehaving next season. I actually enjoyed Bill the best when he was interacting with Jessica in the last two eps. I don't know, but for me I just don't get great chemistry (on screen) between Sookie & Bill and Bill has been flat for me, except for his scenes with Jessica & with Pam & Eric.

Shirtless & butt naked Sam is always a good thing. I want more of that, please. Yummy.

I'm really curious where they are going with the Manaed storyline in the show. In the book her first appearance was a nasty attack on Sookie and then that Sam was fooling around with her after that. So, seeing her "acting" civilized and not just running around like a crazy wild woman is really puzzling to me. I hate it that we have to wait until next summer for this to continue.

Terry <3<3<3 Every little line/scene he is in is just gold. I hope to see more development of his character. Hoyt is adorable, too, like a little puppy. If he gets involved with Jessica, that could be really interesting. Maybe he could tame her back down again . . . although I love her as a formerly repressed young lady on the loose with vengeance. She needs to keep acting wild and being a foil for Bill. You know Sookie is going to flip her lid when she sees Jessica, because Sookie is a self-involved brat herself. The jealousy is going to be through the roof and that could work to keep Sookie & Bill apart, instead of the "Vampire Registry" thing Bill was doing in the books.

I'm glad they are going a little astray from the books, to keep us readers guessing. So far I'm pleased with the majority of the differences. There just better be A LOT more Pam & Eric next season and so on. If they change the plot from "Dead to the World" I am going to be seriously IRATE.
