Script spoilers for season 2 have been posted. Casting Sides I didn't see the need in using a spoiler tag. Just
don't click it if you don't want to know.

I really like this show. Would someone please give some information regarding the books it's based on? Who is the author? I'm sorry if this has been
brought up in this long thread. Thank you.

you.

I've been marathoning True Blood with the final two eps left to go.
What's struck me the most is how the series was I think so cravenly written for DVD. There's no separation between the eps at all. In fact, they'll affirmatively break huge action plotpoints and cut to the credits, with the resolution of the scene resolved prior to the title sequence in the following ep. This must have driven those of you who were watching week to week absolutely batshit crazy, Stackhouse batshit crazy. |

Oh I was already batshit crazy so it didn't bother me too much.

I don't think the wait for any show really bothered me, as long as they showed a new episode every week and didn't take breaks or skip weeks (Lost
season 2 drove me absolutely nuts with their seemingly random repeats between new eps, and it completely ruined the flow of the show).
But I agree with you about how the show flows. I had been watching the show since the first ep, but I turned a few of my friends onto it after ep 7 and we watched all of the eps up to that point straight through. Still awesome even though it was my second time watching them, and all 7 hours flew by. It definitely caters to marathon viewing. |

I'm watching the entire series again tonight, it's amazing to see how far they've come in a season.

Is it done until after Christmas now? I'm going to have to do some reading I suppose.
