24. Derek Shepherd/ "McDreamy"

Kicking off this list with what's probably going to be a fairly unpopular opinion. I know he's the character everyone thinks of when they think Grey's Anatomy but I don't like McDreamy. Never have, never will. For one thing, I've never seen the appeal of Patrick Dempsey. There are much hotter actors on the show than him. To me, he looks old and he's always making stupid faces. His voice also makes him sound whiney and condescending. Anyway, McDreamy is boring (especially in his scenes with Meredith - which is a good percentage of them) and he's also a major jerk a lot of the time. And btw, who the HELL has a "thing" for ferry boats? Ferry boats are the most boring mode of transportation ever. And that's his favorite thing about Seattle? Seriously?

23. Meredith Grey

I never thought I could like a show so much while hating the main character, but there you go. On her best days, Meredith is bland and forgettable compared to the more dynamic characters. On her worst days, she's obnoxious as Hell. She has a talent for making every single thing about her (see her narrations at the beginning and end of every episode where she relates the patient's traumas to her life for example.) Still, I think she'd be a lot easier to handle if she didn't have that screechy/nails-on-chalkboard voice. I've always though of Grey's as an ensemble show, so I usually forget that she's the main character. I think the only things that really set her apart are: 1) she's the title character, 2) she narrates, and 3) she got to die and come back to life. That episode could have been really exciting too, but it was a given she was coming back...without brain damage or anything.

22. Rebecca/Ava/Jane Doe

Rebecca is a psychotic bitch who wore out her welcome. She was alright at first when she was rescued from the ferry boat accident, but she got old pretty fast. Her relationship with Alex was weird and pretty much made no sense. Say what you want about Denny. At least he was nice and he only lasted maybe five or six episodes.

Heh, I feel like kind of bitch for using this pic instead of one with her new face, but whatever. This is how I always remember her.

21. Rose

Rose is Derek's plot-device-y new girl friend in season four. I know nothing about her accept that she is a nurse, she has "doe eyes" and she's intimidated by Meredith. She's basically the female equivalent to McVet: just another pointless, under-developed road block on the path to MerDer realizing their true love. Meh and Bleh. Also, her personality reminds me a lot of Lexie's (one of the two out of three other new characters introduced in S4) which makes her furtherly redundant and ridiculous. In fact, she seems like a Lexie-Meredith hybrid and why in the world would anyone need that?

20. Finn/"McVet"

And speaking of "McVet"…I couldn't separate him from Rose too much as they're pretty much the same thing. Anywho, I actually forgot McVet's name was Finn until I looked it up. That's how memorable he is. Meredith dated McVet for like five episodes and he was pretty much just like McDreamy expect he was, you know, a vet. I just did not care about him. When Meredith went on her first date with him, I was like: "Oh…uh huh…" When she couldn't decide between him and McDreamy, I was like: "Yeah, so?" and when she finally broke up with him, I was like: "Oh, okay. Whatever."

19. Thatcher Grey
Thatcher always seemed like such a wuss. No wonder Ellis ditched him for Richard. I would have too. I bet Richard was hot back then! Anyway, Thatcher is at least part of the reason Meredith turned out the way she did. Yeah, sure Ellis is responsible too, but she's actually cool! Btw, I couldn't even find a picture of this guy, which is kind of sad because there were plenty of Rose and of McVet. Oh well.
