Remove this ad So remember how we were all excited when we found out there was going be live audiences at every eviction?!?! What is the fucking point now that we know all they do is just clap when they are prompted?!?! I'd rather have Julie there in the studio by herself, then to see the stupid, mindless drones in the background!

That they only brought in a live audience so that there would be real witnesses that the HoH comps weren't fixed. Remember the commotion with Sharon losing that last HoH? I think they brought in an audience as safety, so they wouldn't have to fight any bullshit about it anymore.

If that wasn't there, there would be a lot of it. For the first show the audience pretty much just followed along when the stage manager gave signals to applaud. Last night they told the audience to feel free to go ahead and react as they want, just no boing or standing up during the show. Steven got several rounds of appluase that BB didn't ask for. So they're relaxing things a bit. I hope they continue to do so. Whether it adds to the show or not, it's a lot of fun for the people that go, so I'm glad their doing it.

I actually miss the evictees walking out silently with their tails between their legs, only to have their spirits lifted by meeting Julie Chen. "You can set your bag down. ^_^"

The OZ audience always feels like it's a party and people are fucking stoked to be there and possibly drunk too. BBUK audience is TERRIBLE. The booing gets old, it will be quite a funny thing at first if the US allows it, but over time, trust me, it gets old. UK has the dumbest audience ever. They even do chants like "GET (insert name of mediawhore) OUT!" Fun at first but after 10,000 times, it's really annoying. Just don't have an audience at all, keep it how it was. I guess its to give people the illusion at home that not only them and a few net watchers actually watch the show. Its probably the CBS staff, they probably get overtime to stay.

I know this is inaccurate, but the questions was something like "So it's been discussed in the house that you're not just a body but you also have a brain" and his response was "What?". The what was said in a way that implied he couldn't comprehend her question (which reinforces the body without a brain theory). I really thought I heard some laughing that was quickly snuffed out and I assumed the laughers were silenced.. Of course Julie had to dumb down the question and ask again. Then again, it may have just been me. Lol.

BB didn't silence it, I think people just couldn't resist and then hushed down when they remembered where they were. This time around they did tell the audience to feel free to react so there was more of that than the first show. Just no boos and everyone was supposed to remain "stapled" to their chairs.

And it's not that I'd want booing just not like...blatantly rehearsed cheering for each person. It'd be more fun to see people react as the show goes on without worrying about getting kicked out for doing so if it's too "negative" or whatever.
