Yeah CRA, she seems to be living a FULL life.
Anyway, since the season starts a month from today, that could only mean one thing.............
It's time for some predictions! (sure to be wrong, of course)
Afc East
*Master Eli's servants 13-3 (looking at their schedule, can't see how they lose more than 3 games)
*Buffalo 9-7 (up and coming team, made a few good def. acquisitions. think they'll sneak in as a WC)
J-E-T-S Jets! Jets! Jets! 7-9 (upgraded at certain positions but qb situation is still a problem)
Fins 3-13 (rebuilding. give Bill a few years he'll turn this franchise around)
Afc North
*Brownies 9-7 (made some additions on D & have a strong o-line. considering their schedule, it'll be difficult to win 10+ games)
Stilers 9-7 (losing Faneca will hurt, aging D, love the mendenhall pick & big ben is an emerging qb. like cleveland, the schedule is brutal)
Cinci 7-9 (atrocious D; maybe zimmer will help. i like ocho cinco but that situation is bound to explode)
Ravenzzzzzz 6-10 (might win a few more games w/ billick gone but their offense aside from mcgahee & heap is pretty awful)
Afc South
*Jags 12-4 (i'm high on this team and tempted to pick them to win it all, but they never seem to rise to the occasion in a big game)
*Indy 11-5 (a lot of difficult road games; will be a playoff team as long as peyton stays healthy)
Titans 8-8 (love fisher as a HC but they were fortunate to win 10 games)
Youston 7-9 (have some quality def. players on the rise but unfortunately they're in a brutal division)
Afc West
*The Jitenshas 13-3 (will easily win the west. must get homefield over NE to reach SB)
Raiduhs 7-9 (improving team. not sure if they're ready to be a legit contender to make playoffs yet)
Broncs 6-10 (too many questions on both sides of the ball. this team is in transition)
KC 4-12 (rebuilding)
Nfc East
*Boys 12-4 (hate to say it but most talented team in the league. one big weakness is their idiot, crybaby HC who will have his hands full dealing w/ all those
egos)
*GGGGGGGGG-Men 10-6 (i like how "experts" are talking about gibril wilson and torbor being major losses. lol @ espn having the sb champs #6 in their
power rankings. Giants are being underestimated again but they'll be a factor in the nfc. hard to duplicate last season's success so the only way Big
Blue has a realistic shot of repeating is if Eli emerges into a top 5 qb)
*Philly 9-7 (all depends on mcnabb's health; D is improved & westbrook is a beast but the o-line and WR corps is still an issue. they're flying
under the radar so this team could surprise some ppl. )
Skins 8-8 (their season depends on if zorn can help campbell take the next step. if they were in any other nfc division, i'd pick them to make the
playoffs. division is just too tough)
Nfc North
*Vikes 11-5 (like this team a lot. additions of berrian and allen = legit SB contender. only weakness is qb and if they get #4, look out)
Pack 9-7 (hardest team in the league to forecast. feel bad for Rodgers)
Lions 5-11 (matt millen must be giving william clay ford some mean bj's )
Da Bears 4-12 (my man Rex doesn't have much help. lost their best WR and have no RB. just don't see them scoring enough points to win more games)
Nfc South
*Nawlins 10-6 (their D is a bit soft but too much talent on offense not to finish w/ winning record again)
Yucks 9-7 (like their defense, strong backfield, but who knows what to expect from an aging garcia. they'll hover around .500)
Cats 8-8 (good luck predicting what this team will do; seems like they had a solid draft but delhomme's health is the key)
The Matt Ryan Experiment 2-14 (with the first pick in the 2009 draft the Falcons select....)
Nfc West
*Seahawkfetti 10-6(still own this division. strong LB core & hasselbeck is one of the best qb's in the nfc)
Cards 7-9 (if you're looking for a sleeper, this might be it. it's arizona though so I can't trust them)
Rams 6-10 (injuries crippled them in '07; still have some talented players on offense w/ bulger, jackson, holt, pace)
Niners 5-11 (Willis and Gore are beasts; doesn't look like alex smith is the answer at qb)
AFC playoff teams
6) Buffalo
5) Indy
4) Brownies
3) Jags
2) NE
1) Super Chargers
NFC playoff teams
6) Philly
5) Football Giants
4) Seahawkfetti
3) Nawlins
2) Vikes
1) Boys
AFC champ/ship game: NE at SD- Super Chargers (Belichick bolts to the locker room refusing to shake Norv Turner's hand so Rivers taunts the Patriots
and a melee ensues)
NFC champ/ship game: Minnesota at Dallas- Vikeings (Cowboys fall short of expectations. Again. After a poor performance from Rhomo, T.O says:
"That's my teammate...*sniff*....that's my quarterback.....and if Jerry wants to trade him, that's damn fair!"
I'm picking the Vikings w/ the assumption that mr. ego is their qb. If not, I'm going with Dallas.
SB XLIII: San Diego vs Minnesota- Vikings lose due to questionable decision-making by Childress so they fire him and hire geneokerlund27 as their new
HC. Super Chargers hoist their first Lombardi trophy and LDT is named mvp.
Flame away.
