Please, TARA3, don't tell me I did all those positive statements before for nothing! That was really ridiculous. The one that really concerns me is that the gap between the teams. Sam & Vince are sooooooooooooo far ahead! Oh gosh! One great leg followed by an epic fail leg. Anyways, have anyone seen the previews?

What did I tell you? I KNEW these shameless non-subtle advertising is going to screw things up this season somehow. Seriously the worst episode so far. I thought the nokia phone challenge was lame, but this totally topped that. Bravo McKay. eta : the lazy fucks didn't even bother to come up with an original FF idea. I wanted them to last longer, considering Mai has been pretty funny, and they aren't afraid to play dirty. But considering Ida/Tania were last otherwise, it's a fair trade (although I guess it would have been NEL had Mai and Oliver not been so far behind, so that's also bad). Is anyone completely shocked to see that A.D/Fuzzie are STILL THERE! I was surprised they made it to F6, but I would have bet the world that they would leave next (especially if I had to choose between them and Mai and Oliver). A Henry/Bernie, A.D/Fuzzie, and Ida/Tania F3 would be awesome, but it won't happen. I don't hate Vince and Sam thought. I hope Henry and Bernie win, though (rooting for any of the FF teams is probably an act in futility).

Worse still, TARA has enough of tasks that require "SORRY TRY AGAIN". And how about chances of getting one that allows to proceed? And then when the store closed, giving the clue to Mai & Oliver is like "Okay, we're done advertising our products, you can go now." Mai & Oliver should sue whoever set up this task for being treated like that. They weren't really a team I liked but I can't believe the race producers actually ALLOWED this task with bad planning of probability for the unluckiest team finding the last disc to be included. Idiots. They were probably hoping that everyone's gonna be bunched up because they're going to move to another country but NO, this leg stays in Taiwan, and then ends at Taipei still. Idiots. And for that, it is the worse time to put the Fast Forward (didn't they learn their lesson in Season 2's FF? Producer's reply: What lesson?). And didn't Allan mention that there is only going to be one (again - Season 2 had only one too)? Did they know US Season 12 had two actually with one unaired? Idiots. As if it wasn't enough to piss me off, it has to do with having tattoos on their bodies - same carbon copy as Season 12. LAZY idiots. As if search/luck tasks weren't enough, the NEXT route marker they reached - the Roadblock, was another needle-in-a-haystack one. EXTREME idiots. And the Detour was so random, I'm so surprised the shop didn't contain any product placements (sarcasm intended). Ida & Tania who somehow chose the other Detour option was probably the saving grace for this episode which was already shitty enough to condemn the good impression of this season previously, but it put them down to 5th place. Whatever. The producers can only blame themselves if the teams arrive so far apart because of horrible planning right on their own doing. Whoever designed this leg deserves to be shot. It was so painful to see Mai and Oliver get screwed by a task that was BOTH PRODUCT PLACEMENT AND NEEDLE IN A HAYSTACK. The leg designers should be shot. Dunno why Ida and Tania chose the bucket Detour. The other one seemed really easier to do.

Apart from Rov/Mark's antics in last year's race, I never enjoyed TARA as much as I did last night. Seeing how those two bitches (Ida and Tania) suffered was a thing of beauty. I say keep it up. The biggest downer from that episode was that those fugly racers (Fuzzy and AD) are still in it.. When will TARA realize that whenever those two lesbos are on TV, the show's ratings drops big time. Man, they should ban those ugly asses of TV unless ofcourse they decide to broadcast their show through the radio.

In TARA1, I remember several teams agreed to take the four-hour penalty when most of them didn't have luck finding the clue in the sand at the beach in Bali. That worked well for the teams, at least it added more excitement to the viewers cause they were at least still racing to the pitstop. If they did, I'd consider that as a strategic move. Sure they'd quit the task, but they wouldn't have quit the race. I think someone suggested to do the same thing in this episode, but they never went for it. Oh well.

Posts: 292 (10/10/08 1:20 PM) Reply Quote More Recent Posts Message Connection Block Invite	i didn't really HATE this episode as much as you guys seem to have. it wasn't the best of the season so far, agreed... but it wasn't that bad. it was still very entertaining and i enjoyed every minute of it. still love Ida/Tania & Geoff/Tisha... they're who i found myself rooting for for some reason. Henry/Bernie (mostly Henry) & AD & Fuzzie continue to annoy me. Sam/Vince were... meh. will miss Mai/Oliver! ugh. if they could've just pushed on a little bit more! the only thing i despised in the episode was the shopping mall closing and them giving Mai/Oliver the clue just like that. THAT was dumb. but then having spent hours there and still not being able to stumble upon a working Blu-Ray, although arguably just unlucky, is still pretty lazy and (hate to say it) stupid of them.
