I don't think there is a time limit on how long Peter has a power, I think it's just until he touches another Special. Nathan asked him what he could
do now and Peter's answer was "What was the last thing you saw me do" or something like that. So I think he had Nathan's power until he
touched Mohinder, Mohinder's until he touched Tracy and now that the ep ended with him touching Mohinder, he'll be strong until he touches someone else

I just realized they fixed another huge problem.
Hiro lost his powers, Peter's been gimped. That means no more time travel. Of course, we'll probably still get our requisite future episode thanks to Matt and his ever-expanding ability pool. From mind reading to mind control to drawing the future? This is veering off a bit but I wonder if Matt could absorb abilities with his mind reading if he had Sylar's power, or if having the physical brain is necessary. |

I don't see the connection between reading minds and seeing the future. It seems more like the writers needed someone to have this ability and Matt was
the best choice since they want him to be a part of this volume. As long as they don't screw it up I'll be fine with it.

Was talking with some people here at work over lunch and they are slobbering over the episode las tonight.
One person mentioned, and I agreed with them, the slower pacing of the episode instead of just bouncing here and there and everywhere every two seconds like the last volume. |

This episode was borderline too dark. It lost the sense of wonder the previous seasons had.
I hope it lightens back up a bit, but I doubt it will. |

I think the series has been irreperably damaged by shoddy writing and plain badly "developed" characters. This season started with a big meh from me. I simply cannot give a crap about any of them at this point and most of them are just plain annoying. Adjusting Peter's limits and taking Hiro's powers away are not a solution. It would have been best if the plane crashed and everyone died and they started from scratch but we all know that's not going to happen. |

The best part of the show was Peter's hot new hairstyle.
What would happen if he touched two people at exactly the same time? What would happen if had Tracy's powers and then touched another person with powers -- would he turn that person into ice or would the ice power not work because he was absorbing the new person's powers?

I think it makes him more Rogue. Ultraboy has a battery of powers he can call on at any time, he can only use them one at a time though. Peter seems to need to
touch someone to use that power. He has that power until he touches someone else and can't use the other one until he touches that person again. At least
that's what appears to be goig on
