Music is kind of unique among the arts in that its so often competitive. Why do people have to get their art subjected to such critical review and trump other
artists so frequently? Just make your art for art's sake! You don't see "Battle of the Authors" or "Battle of the Painters" or
"Battle of the No-Future College Student Short Film Makers."

I have a problem.
I actually maintain a frequently updated spreadsheet so that I can choose the optimal promotion tool. Also on this spreadsheet I maintain calculations to assist me in determining which Tour mode to purchase ... I have the calculations to give me an over all result, a result weighted with cost, and a result weighted with energy. Knowing that I will be away for a few days I sold all of my Tour purchases to get more Promotional stuff ... it doesn't matter how fast my energy refreshes if I'm not there to play a gig. Please, call A&E and order an intervention. |

I like Battle of the Bands and then I forget about it for weeks at a time. Coming up with your band name is the best part.
Some of us use our real names and Facebook accounts because we're reckless that way. |
