I'm all for vampire rights, yet the site doesn't tell me how to contribute.

I was wondering if Vampires were insurable for life insurance, or if you have a policy and turn into a vampire, does it pay out as a claim?

If you were on Facebook you'd know. I'm a member of the VRM!

The Bush administration's policy toward vampire rights is downright criminal, what with their advocating the invasion of vampire homes without search
warrants and the driving of stakes through the hearts of suspected vampires without due process, notification of legal rights, or access to legal
representation.

it seems like there's way too much sci-fi/fantasy stuff about vampires, werecritters and aliens with a soft porn bent lately - it's as though all the
romance novelists had switched their heroes or heroines to werecritters or vampires and slightly rewritten the stories and invades a new profit center
I thought is was just amazon.com, but then I went to a bookstore and it was even more of the same type of stuff I'd think bloodbreath would be a nonstarter in the romance department, not to mention the cold clammy skin |

:sobs I love the Charlaine Harris books - it took a good half a book before Sookie stopped annoying me though. And the VRM websites are a tie in to the new HBO
series True Blood based on the Harris books.

It's not about skin color so much as it is about immigration. I mean, we can't just let some foreigner ship whatever and whomever he wants from Romania
without laying down a few laws. The rats that come with each shipment cause a public health hazard, and our economy can't support a vampiric epidemic
without FEMA being given a severe overhaul. I say we get an embargo going. We can get out spooky unlabeled coffin-shaped boxes from an American vendor if we
pay a few bucks more.

CBRetriever wrote: Yeah I'm pretty much reduced to rereading old stuff. As far as the vampire books go the only author I like is Susan Squires. As far as regular
historicals go my auto buys at the moment are Loretta Chase, Elizabeth Hoyt and Laura Lee Guhrke. I am also fucking sick of Regency era shit. ENOUGH ALREADY!
Pickings are real slim these days |

I'm officially sick of the Stephenie Meyer vampire books. You can't walk into a bookstore these days without bumping into a mountain of these books.
I guess they needed something to balance out the mountain of James Patterson novels.

I'm one-fourth a vampire on my mother's side. I think its so unfair some of the names I was called in school -- 'fangie', 'limp pulse',
'bloodsucking asshole that killed my brother'. I can't even say some of them without crying (if I could cry, that is).
