Perhaps one of the most well known periods of Chinese history from a worldwide perspective, due to the novel "Romance of The Three Kingdoms" (and perhaps even more recently, the video games based on the novel & events), the Three Kingdoms was a chaotic time when all three Kingdoms attempted to consolidate their rule over the entire nation. The team member must enter the library and choose either Wu, Wei or Shu, at which point they will be given a key figure from that Kingdom. They must then, in no less then 10 lines, give an INFORMATIVE description on their figure. If their speech is accurate and deemed acceptable, they will receive their next clue. Post Minimum 10 line, informative speech about given figure 7th Parvati & Natalie / Friends (oh ehm gee) - FIGURE: GAN NING Post Run in to library, and pick Wu/Wei/Shu ROADBLOCK: Wu's standing in the Wei of Shu-trol? Post (Team Member) will do the Roadblock! ROUTE INFO: Teams must now make their way to the gates of Peking University. Officially the first ever national university of China, it was originally founded as Imperial Capital University in 1898, during the Hundred Days Reform. Many of China's important figures have studied at Peking, including Mao Xedong, Li Dazhao and Chen Duxiu to name but three. Teams will find their next clue at the gate leading to the University's library. Anyways, in his childhood he lived a life of petty crime, looting and killing people, until reading stuff from famous literatists. That convinced him to give up his life of crime and totally m.orph to a CPM character. He tried to seek out the patronages of Liu Biao and Huang Zu, who rejected him and treated him like shit, respectively. You could compare this to the Shallownage of Survivor Micronesia like I do, but that's not at all necessary. He then, under the recommendation of his BFF Su Fei, sought out Sun Quan; however, Huang Zu was being a total Penner about things and refused to let him go. Thanks to a bit of bureaucratic trickery by Su Fei, Gan Ning was transferred to Sun Quan, where he convinced his patron to get rid of Huang Zu once and for all. He showed his nobility when he requested amnesty for Su Fei (what with Sun Quan wanting to chop his head off and all). There was some tear-jerking stuff which, as a Black Widow, I'm really not about, and Su Fei managed to live. Following that, Sun Quan and Gan Ning experienced many military successes, including Wan and Heifel. In one such event, he saved his long-time rival Ling Tong by shooting Yue Jin in the eye with a spear. It's the exact opposite idea of how I've played it, but still, it's pretty cool. He eventually died around 220 with the title of Sole Surivor titles of General Who Oppresses the Enemy with Ferocity and Grand Administrator of Xiling.
