So for some reason Matthew von Ertfelda is on HGTV's Designed to Sell as a friend of the guy trying to sell his house in DC. When they
introduced him they even mention he was on Survivor. Then again when he's using a power tool he says, "these were few and far between in the
Amazon" and then when he finishes he say "I have won immunity". And now everyone wearing Survivor buffs like the host and she is offering them
peanut butter and chocolate. So yeah I have no idea why this has happened.

Matthew <3. I always liked him and thought,aside from his final jury performance, was a very bright and underrated stratagist. Too bad the jury didn't
believe him.

I agree. I always thought Matt was one of the nicer people to be cast on Survivor. He seemed like a very genuine, very honest person. He didn't seem
like he had a fake bone in his body. It's probably why nobody ever respected him.

Matt to this day is my all time favorite Survivor, I was so pissed when he lost, I will always hate the Amazon jury (minus Butch) the most of any season. All
tho to be fair, I think the jury were victims of editing as the editing made the viewers want to root for Matt and also the editing seemed to make it appear
that Matt could beat Jenna easily. Now, I can see why Jenna won, as she had better relationships with the jury. Even now, watching Matt lose so bad is still
painful to watch, which is why I very rarely ever go back to watch Amazon again.

They wanted a winner that surprised everyone hence the screwed up editing.
Jenna was (along with Butch) the people (going by editing), least likely to win to the viewer's eyes when it hit the jury period. There's a reason why Butch voted for Matt as well. He admitted he wouldn't be voting for Jenna no matter who she was up against. but nice to see Matt back on tv again. Such a rare sight. Been about five years hasn't it? |
