So, there are several cities I am looking to move to after I graduate from nursing school next August and I am doing research now to narrow down where I want
to go.
I have selected the usual: NYC, Boston, Chicago and DC. All of these have public transit and I won't need to own a car, and I am fairly certain all 4 cities will be similar in things to do (if not, please correct).
I am wondering about these other cities: Dallas, Houston, Austin, LA, San Diego (I was considering SF but apparently it is hard to get a nursing job there)
How is commuting in those cities? Are public buses enough during working hours and taxis convenient for weekend clubbing or do I need to invest in a car or motorcycle (preferably motorcycle)? Or is a regular bike fine? Is gay nightlife abundant or is there at least a good dating scene? I am assuming in LA there is, but I have no clue about the others. Anything you would say that would sway me from living in any of the cities I mentioned?
