Does it really matter if someone can swim fast over 200meters?
Wouldn't it benefit the human race to have a really good event that will help us evolve/ learn something/ benefit science? Maybe events like: Holding your Breath Highest Parachuting Quickest Orgasm |

the pentathalon used to be useful training back before telephones, walkie talkies and radios were invented - it tested all the skills a messenger had to have
to make it from one place to another to deliver a message
so, I guess the road race and mountain bike/bmx stuff could be useful if one were a bicycle messenger or even a commuter who uses a bicycle. |
