So...what would have happened in that episode 2 challenge? |

Craig said he was told to be in the 'uphill battle' group and Liz was all set to be with him before everyone decided to have Mark and Kristen do it. If
Craig and Liz had done the challenge, do you think they would've made it up to the taxi so Craig could take some more money out of the pot? Liz's legs
ended up hurting in the mission anyway and well, Craig is Craig, plus Mark the soccer coach probably would've scored a goal against those kids (I hope.) So
even though it's completely pointless to wonder what would've happened (and start a thread about it), it's a nice what if.

Mark probably would have gotten the team to score a goal before Craig and Liz even reached the offer for the taxi. The team would have won the challenge. I
don't know why the producers would have wanted him to take on that role in the challenge...if that had happened, then Craig definitely would have been the
worst mole ever.
Though, it would be interesting to ponder what would have happened if Liz had won an exemption that round... |

Not necessarily. If Mark had managed to score a goal, there's a very good possibility that taxi would have moved down the hill.
I still can't figure out why everyone wanted Mark and Kristen to do it. I would think you'd want the slower out of shape people riding a bike up a hill, and keep the soccer coach on the soccer field. |

they are always facing an uphill battle" - so immediately Craig and Liz volunteered because that does indeed describe them. The group knew however that
you should never take the challenge descriptions literally because they always end up backfiring on you, so that's why two athletic people were chosen.
They figured those two would be going up the mountain, so naturally you'd want fit people doing that. Of course, this actually ended up backfiring on the
group... it was a good reverse psychology ploy from the producers.
I don't get why Craig was supposed to volunteer for this. You'd think it'd be a better Mole tactic to actually suggest the two strongest
atheletes in the group to allow them a better chance of getting the exemption and therefore denying the pot some money.

We never knew what Jon meant with his "I need someone who...." until it was too late. I just knew that if I got in the smallest group I
would slow down the smallest amount of people in the mission. Craig and I should have done the Uphill Battle.... we would have gotten the exemption and kept
money out cuz we would 've taken the taxi. As it was... Mark and Kristen did the same thing only no taxi. I heard Mark and Kristen were an hour ahead of
us at the top so we would've lost no matter how slow I was going up in the gondola. However, with Mark playing soccer, they might have beaten us and put
$35,000 in the pot and we got no exemption. Aaah ! The possiblities! Liz

Ha! No kidding! We had 2 ten minute segments in the soccer game with a 5 or 10 minute break in the middle. Then we took a little time getting
started up the hill... had to high five the kids and pass out gondola tickys and then read the maps to find out where we were and then where we were going.
Then we got split up cuz someone said there was a shortcut. I had caught up with the group running ahead cuz they were still arguing about which way to go to
the gondolas. LOL! I'm not sure about the whole hour but someone said that's what it was. We had too many people going too many directions and too
many little soccer brats to overcome! Ha!
