Then you neither appreciatiate or love prog rock.
Keep in mind that Radiohead is full of King Crimson influence (early seventies era). |

Led Zep had some prog moments, esp on Houses Of The Holy.

I disagree, Fris. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE Zep, but 99% of their stuff is reworked blues. That's not really progressive. Fucking killer, yes.
Progressive, no.

Maybe just the first two songs. Yeah, "Song remains..." isn't really blues. Could be if you slowed it down though. And yeah, "Rain
Song" is just a flat out ballad. "Over the Hills..." is straightforward rock and roll, "Crunge" is totally blues, "Dancing
Days" is blues, D'yer Mak'er is reggae which is just Jamaican blues, No Quarter is 125% blues with some jazz thrown in and ok I guess The Ocean
isn't blues but the influence is completely there.
So, you do have a point. |

Add Rush, Dream Theater, Spock's Beard, and Kevin Gilbert to this list.
Trivia: Dream Theater had what's probably the most unfortunate case of bad timing regarding album cover artwork in the history of music. - The reissued cover:
- ...for the original cover, from "Live Scenes in New York" - released Tuesday, September 11th, 2001:

There were 3,000 prog bands in Italy alone. The only one I can name is PFM.
