Here's my analysis of Memphis. I know his type, he grew up two blocks away! He's a good ol' boy first of all, and a Christian. They love their moms and generally respect women and come to their defense, especially pretty ones! They say "yes Ma'am" and open doors for women. The "watch your mouth" comment is one I've heard alot when somebody gets uppidy. It's a prelude to an ass whoopin'! I imagine Memphis has dealt with drunks who run their mouths by standing up to them and cutting them off from the bar, so he's handled confrontation before and easily. I watched him puff his chest out and stare down Ollie, very wolf-like. He's comfortable in his alpha-male role. Don't criticize his country, his family, or his manhood, but other than that, he's easy going. He likes who he is and has plenty of pride, whether about his looks, or status or talent.

He's more quiet and reserved, will talk but doesn't usually initiate conversation topics unless something specific is on his mind. This tendency helps him when dealing with the crazies of big brother. He can lay low and let others put targets on their backs first, because this is how he operates anyway. He probably sat in the back of the class in school. He listens more than he speaks, and is good at reading people, but doesn't give up much so is difficult for others to read. He's played sports, is willing to play his part in a team effort and be led by someone else's play. But he'll give his opinion first. He knows what he wants but is willing to wait for it. He enjoys gambling and doesn't suffer fools easily. He'll let women off the hook before he'll let a man, for the same transgression. But he can shake it off and doesn't hold grudges long. He is great at games because he doesn't take things personally too much (other than attacks on country, family or manhood) and he thinks before he speaks.

Because of his obvious leadership qualities, physical abilities and smarts, he's an obvious threat in this game. His throwing competitions is his way of detracting from being a target, but in the end, I expect he'll win any he really tries in. Now that others realize he can win competitions, he'll probably get put on the block even more, but he is likely to get himself off the hook each time. Staying cool under pressure allows him to regroup and stay focused. If he makes it to final two, this is his game to lose.
