30 minutes of new rule explanations
30 minutes of Exile Island footage 30 minutes of twists 4 minutes of character development |

I emailed my CBS affiliate and they said it actually is a full two-hour premiere and not back-to-back episodes. But technically, even if it is the first two
episodes combined, if they're both under the production code umbrella of 1701, that would qualify as a single two-hour episode. So basically it doesn't
tell us anything.

FUCK there's a Brand New concert on the 25th. Can someone tape the premier for me??

The two-hour premiere stinks since it overlaps with the season premiere of The Office, and I already have to watch Kitchen Nightmares later to catch that!
Thursday is such a clusterfuck. |

Has it actually been confirmed that the premiere is two episodes?

TV Guide has it as one long eppy and the description says one person gets the boot. Take it with a grain of salt, though, IMO.

2 hours is 2 hours, whether 1 person goes or 2, who gives a fuck. Sure it'd be cool to have 1 really long episode with the rest intact, but... if not then
we arent losing anything.

Not to sound condescending, but I give a fuck. It's totally different. One two-hour episode with one person getting booted gives a shitload of time for
character development, which this show is desperately in need of. So we would be losing something by having it be two separate episodes.

my point is... if there isnt a 2 hour episode than it's not like we lost anything, everything stays teh same with back to back episodes. We have nothing to
lose, only an extra hour to gain if it is 1 episode.

OMG Dic, we agree on something.

I'll just feel cheated if it's just two episodes stacked together, because they could've just separated the episodes like was initially intended and I could've still caught The Office when it debuted. |

Yeah, I dunno if going up against The Office was a good decision.

Survivor gets more viewers then The Office anyways, doesn't it. I think it was a worse idea to go up against Grey's Anatomy.
