This meat has been in the public domain from January 2008 to present, hasn't it?

bucking fitch wrote:Haven't the deaths only been attributed to corned beef and roast beef? I haven't heard of any testing concluding listeriosis being detected in anything but those lines. The recall expansion was for unrelated product in the same plant. But no contaminated product came from those lines. Good optics and smart business. |

Yeah, in a couple days they'll issue a release statign that extensive testing ahs been done on all the other recalled products and that no listeriosis was
found in any of them. Then they'll give it to food banks or something.

I was wide eyed when the said Mr. Sub and Mickey D's were hit in the early days.
Mr. Sub's roast beef with extra meat, and Super Assorted subs were my two favorite sammiches from the late 1970s to 2002. I ate them at least 5 days a week when I worked downtown. |

people with normal immune systems should be fine. most of the deaths are old people, who got the contaminated meat at their retirement homes.

I'd be turning deathly green, if'n my spleenless innards met that tainted meat. I already have to get every damn vaccine and antibiotic since I am
compromised.
That said, I have had one minor cold in 8 years, no flu. People eat shit and have healthy immune systems and they rarely have a record like that. Plus unlike 90% of men, I wash my hands after using the stinkin' washroom, even after shaking hands, touching public doorknobs, I am the antibacterial posterboy. |
