Remove this ad Agghh this little fucker has been getting worse for two days now.. It's right around my nail bed i guess from a hang nail or something.. I've been soaking it and putting ointment on it and it's not really going down or away... and it's really starting to hurt... The whole finger is throbbing... I feel like I have another heart in there. It's really swollen and full of puss.. I squeeze it as much I can allow myself... PAIN WIMP.... aggh... i don't want to loose my finger or die... but I have no insurance... should I drain the wound myself???? IT HURTS!

Remove this ad I had that once and all the ointment and medications I put on it made it worse. I finally just went to the doctor and he squeezed everything out. It was so painful I never would have done it myself. Even without insurance, it's a fairly minor thing, so I doubt it would be horribly expensive. Maybe try a clinic if money's a big issue.
