Wasn't Maggot bragging about neglecting/harming her patients? If that is what happened, she deserved to be ratted out to her employers. (I didn't have the feeds back then and I don't remember what all was said about it after the fact.) Dan hasn't said anything about wanting to harm children, the child molesting bullshit is totally made up. Seems like the insane plan to harass Dan in RL is more like the harassment of Dr Will.

The crazy stalker folks were telling or threatening to tell Will's employer was that he lied in the game (true) and therefore was a liar in RL (who knows) and therefore shouldn't have a job (crazy). Not quite the same as completely making up an accusation of illegal activity against an HG and using it against them in RL. Dr Will's and Maggie's situations are more similar - but the Maggie folks had a better point maybe. Maggie said she neglected patients when she was in the game (true) so she did neglect the patients in RL (probably) and therefore shouldn't be working with the patients (good point!!). It's all very stalkerish and creepy. True, accusing somebody of being a liar and calling them a molester are definitely not the same thing. My point was that Maggot really did admit to something that could warrant an investigation by her employer, whereas Dan/Will have not. It's possible that some of the people who reported Maggot really did want to protect any potential future patients from being harmed by her. In contrast, the people who harassed Will were just pissed about Winelle, I doubt they gave a shit about his patients. Same with Dan, there is no legit reason to try to trash his career/reputation. I don't even know why anybody would get so enraged about Dan, he's not even that interesting. It is psychotic.
