Well she is the third major teen(Spears, Castle-Hughes) to get knocked up over the past year or so which is a trend, which to my knowledge hasn't happened at any point in our pop-culture. I think this is much more valid then the last elections issue with Kerry and how many medals he earned when he was actually went to Nam as oppossed to the others.

The candiates kids should be off limits, but the problem is that the legit press and actual politicians themselves make this an issue. Edwards has a bastard child, Obama's kids stole the show, Magazines are driven on celebrity babies, Miley is in a weird sexual place, Spears is in a weird familial place and now we have the Palin children who are going to be major topics of discussion.

Personally I would rather we talk about why the Republicans are running a man who when he was young he crashed mulitple government aircrafts, finished at the bottom of his class, had issues with carbet bagging, the savings and loan scandals of the 80s, and collapsing family values. This is a man who left his first family to be with a rich, young, powerful woman.
