Senator Obama's "Fight the Smears" Website Features an Attack On This Ad, Called "Scamming the Faithful," Claiming That This YouTube Video is NOT Really a TV Ad but Really a "SCAM," Aimed at Scamming Those Who Have Contributed to the 527 Group, and That The Ad Would Never Air on TV. However, Those Contributions Have Been Used Exclusively to Put the Ads on TV Beginning Today, Proving That Obama's "Fight the Smears" Charges Against PHforAmerica.com are Not Only False, Scurrilous and Libelous, But Also the Real Smear

WASHINGTON, Oct. 1 -- "The Real Barack Obama" -- a TV ad to be unleashed today in Pennsylvania and Michigan, shows Barack Obama in his own words during a 2006 speech, arrogantly and smugly mocking and ridiculing the books of Leviticus and Deuteronomy, even laughing at The Sermon on the Mount. Stating "It's doubtful that our own Defense Department would be able to survive" the Sermon on the Mount's application, Obama's implication that Christ would "turn the other cheek" to terrorists and America's enemies is just as shocking as his follow-up remark, "Folks haven't been reading their Bibles"; condescendingly implying the American people don't understand the Bible as wisely as he (Obama) does. The ad points out that it is Barack Obama, not the American public, who doesn't understand the Bible.

"The Real Barack Obama" also points out that the Sermon on the Mount, which Obama mocks and ridicules, is considered by most Christians and historians to include the most spiritually inspiring words ever uttered by Christ; and that the Book of Deuteronomy, which Obama also ridicules, gave us the Ten Commandments.

This 2006 speech by Senator Obama also reinforces Obama's contempt for Americans of faith, considering his remarks in April that small-town Americans are bitter and "cling to their guns and religion".

The fact that the ad is airing proves that it was never a scam to contributors. Ironically, the only smear has been committed by the Obama campaign and their "Fight the Smears" website.

The 527 group PHforAmerica.com, was created by opposition researcher Stephen Marks, who also produced some of the most hard-hitting ads of the 2000 and 2004 campaigns, regarding Al Gore and John Kerry respectively. Marks is also the author of the book Confessions of a Political Hitman and has appeared on hundreds of television and radio programs, including The O'Reilly Factor, Anderson Cooper 360, Hannity and Colmes, and NPR.

Innocent people have been passing around a web video launched by a political professional and career smear peddler that turns out to be a cynical and manipulative attack on Barack Obama's reading of the Bible. The trickster's claims about Barack's faith are every bit as false as his claims that this amateurish video is really a TV ad.

The Truth About the Video

The video was launched on the scam artist's website, PHforAmerica.com. He claimed that the ad "will air on TV immediately following the Democratic National Convention," and he even asks for money to "help this ad air as often as possible in the key swing states."

But real TV ads are most often produced in short, even lengths -- usually 30 seconds or maybe as long as one minute. This supposed "ad" runs 2:09 and is so poorly made that it would never air on TV -- and sure enough, it still hasn't, even now that the Democratic convention has come and gone.

The Truth About Barack

With such a deceptive person behind this video, it's not surprising that everything he says about Barack is deeply dishonest and wrong, too. The video takes 5 sentences out of a 4,500-word speech Barack gave in 2006 completely out of context to stoke division and hatred.
