Hey Eliza!
I think it's pretty interesting. Just sitting out in that hut in the middle of the lake - ugh. I would hate that shit.

No, I don't think you just sit out there, that's just where the clues are -- there is an island 100 feet away, like ours (I think!!).

Ooooh, I couldn't really tell by the pictures posted on the first page, so I thought it was just a hut out in the middle of the water.

I'm having a really hard time putting the perspectives together, too. Is this one of those giant termite nests, or a big fuggly sedimentary rock?
Anyways, clues vs comforts-wise: One of the things that was interesting to me last season was when Parvati was on Exile right at the end of the game. The edited version we saw was that she lounged about getting a tan, rather than looking for the immunity idol. However, supposedly really she did find the idol, but calculated that it was in her best interests to leave the thing out there. Comfort vs Clues sounds like only an idiot would go for comfort, but perhaps sometimes that is the best choice. And "comfort" makes it sound kind of like something for wusses, but something like food (nourishing food, not dorritos) could be a real advantage. Do we know that the comfort choice is always legit, or is there the possibility of a booby prize, like in the food auction? |

I believe the way they have it set up is that the "comforts" ramp up in quality throughout the game- making it more and more tempting to go for them.
And as I was writing that sentence above- I think I just figured out the twist on the Car Challenge- It'll be offered as a "comfort" on Exile. |

It wouldn't surprise me by any means if someone chose comfort...someone like KB would've taken that in a heartbeat...she had no desire to look for the
idol...even Parv later in the game...not everyone cares about that aspect of the game...

I've found a video that has the first 9 minutes of the TV Guide Preview (I'll keep an eye out for the rest). Enjoy!

Did anyone notice the red buff on the II at the end of that last video?

Aren't those dream teamers? So I don't think this "challenge" means anything for the game.
I think the II is wearing some red and yellow necklaces, not a buff.

EOrlins wrote:A great new twist for Exile and for the game, don't you agree? I love that the survivors are challenged by new minor 'twists' like this. I do not think that there is a red buff on the II CSC, I saw a red blur on the ground behind the idol and it also has a red and yellow necklace. I am surprised by the images of picking tribes. It looks like the tribes are very equally distributed with respect to age and physical ability. I would have thought that production put those teams together. I have to say I love Susie, and while I do not expect her to last long, I love me some f-bomb dropping fiery latino momma! |

The yellow team has some dug-up puzzle pieces in the last video in their digging scene while no red bags are visible.
Right after the digging scene though, it shows everyone running with red having a slight lead. |
