Jessi's ok. The others, I haven't warmed up to. Meh.

LOL. Apparently, there is an age restriction when it comes to getting to be in the audience at the Much HQ.
If you're older (or if you LOOK older) than 30, you won't get in.
Maybe the rules are lax when it comes to reunited acts like NKOTB

There needs to be a music channel where the target demographic is 19+ (aka no screaming fantardy tweens).

I think MMM is their answer to it but it's not exactly the same thing.

I think Gilson is gone for good, I haven't seen him in a long long time on the channel.

Anyone watched MOD or Countdown today?
Who was the 3-piece band that Tim (ugh) was interviewing today? Thanks.

And random but it's amazing to see Girlicious' (Whorelicious/Pornlicious) "Stupid Shit" video again.
Apparently, they're huuuuuuuuuge not only here (which explains why their videos are constantly on rotation), but also in Brazil.
I don't think they hit it big in the US though.

Seems that they are 20,000 albums to Platinum status in Kanada. Which means they can get a 1 bedroom apartment in Toronto for the 4 of them to live in soon. Why haven't these STD ridden ladies made it big in their own home turf?

And being Brazilian, I can tell you that selling records in Brazil or going gold or platinum now is worth nothing.

It's as valuable as selling 5,000 copies of a c.d. in Canada in total. The cost of flying these ho's down there and doing their gig rounds is more than the value of their sales.

Electric Circus is long gone.

Anyway, I LOL'd yesterday when Matt Babel was introducing some random segment during Countdown. He was introducing one of the comedians from "Stars Gone Wild" in which he said, "a show that is thankfully, off the air"

(or something to that effect).

Back to Pornlicious,
Even though girlbands are totally not my thing (faaaaaaaaaaaar from it), I want them to succeed, I guess.
It's funny that Americans have to import their debut album from Kanada. I don't think their CD was ever released in the States. Or maybe it'll be released at a later date.
They'll be back again touring the rest of Canada this year with some RnB artist. So I guess it's safe to say, Girlicious is "one of our own" now.
And I watched "On Set" today and their newest single "Babydoll" is kinda catchy. So props to them.

I think Girlicious is bigger in Canada because MuchMusic kept airing and repeating the episodes who knows how many times, so they got a lot more exposure. Whereas in the U.S., I think they just showed it once a week on the CW.

It's a shame they have to skank it up too much. I thought some of the girls on the show (esp. <3 Tiff <3 and Nichole) were more talented than the typical AI pop singers on top of being able to dance.

^ That obviously should have been the group. But I bet the producers didn't want to have a black girl majority, and they had a hardon for Natalie even though she sucked. Then they put in Chrystina over Charlye to even out the cliques. Charlye was robbed.

Hmmm. Now I recall one of them saying MuchMusic had some sort of influence in the creation of their debut album... like, people from Much were at the LA studio. =O
Maybe they're all secretly Canadian.

So basically Whorelicious is Kanookian, unofficially of course. Wow. I make fun of them and all but their music ain't that bad. It's catchy at least. For a Kanookian effort, it's pretty good. I'll be suprised if they never break it in the states or at least go gold or something.

Lady Gaga also released her c.d. here months ago and its just coming out in the states now. I wonder why in the hell they are doing that now with all the artists. Weird.

So I decided to watch MOD today to catch FF, and grrrrr..... TIM DEEGAN is hosting. Why must he host everytime I tune in?
Then Devan showed up, and thought "Hmmmm. Maybe he'll be the interviewer" but that wasn't the case.
And I cringed at Tim's lack of interviewing skills. I wasted 40 minutes for a five minute interview.

I facepalm'd when Tim described Britney as having gone a "complete 360" from last year. What a moron.

He's such an idiot. That channel has gone down the tubes anyways. I rarely tune into it. I catch the odd VOT but I mostly watch MTV now and some of their braindraining programming. Much just isn't what it was anymore, never will be again. Deegan is a product of that.

I'm thinking she might have been some of the cuts done by CTV Globe Media. I know Much was cut down in staff and I think it included VJs.

I don't think Much cut her. She's one of the better VJs.
If they did, they are truly morons though. Tim couldn't host to save his life. It should've been him that gotten the axe.
Then again, nothing beats the power of hormonal pre-tweens.
"ZOMG! TIM IS HOT!111! MARRY ME!!111!!1!!!!" brings in the ratings.
KKKanada and MANada wins again. *le sigh*
