21. Nami



You and Nami

Nami is one of the three girls you can marry, and for some reason a ton of people like her. I really don't get the obsession. I tried once to marry her, but by the time I got her to one heart... I had Muffy at three! She's extremely quiet, but is a cool person. She loves to travel around, which is cool. Overall, she's just in the middle of the pack.

Just take pyrotechnician apart to figure out what it means

Pyro- Fire
Technician- A person with the ability to work with

He makes fireworks.

Thank you, he has fireworks all around his house...so this would make a lot of sense.

Nami is like the Karen of this game it seems, but she looks like a boy and Karen actually looked feminine kind of. But yeah, the cold-hearted girl that is hard to romance is always the fan favo, that's why everyone likes her.

Okay, that makes sense. Karen isn't my least favorite woman to marry in the N64 version, though. That description does fit Nami.

20. Galen



Galen and You

Galen is pretty cool during the first year. He's an old dude who will give you different stuff for the farm if you befriend him. However, after his wife dies (during the middle of the first and second chapter)... he turns really bitter. Though he is really helpful, it's kindof depressing to watch someone walk around town depressed.

Edit to add: I may not post one tomorrow becuase of the premier of Gabon... we'll see! :)

I always liked the graphics of these games and what the characters looked like.

I know! One of the reasons I like this particular game so much is that the graphics are truly amazing.

19. Takatura

You and Takatura

Takatura is the guy that helps you get settled in your new home. He's a really nice guy too. He'll try to help you with anything farming related, and will go get whatever you need from other towns for you. The only reason he doesn't rank higher is because he's kindof boring. But other than that, he's a really cool guy.

Yes, there is fishing spnintendo. XD

17. Sebastion

You, Grant, Romana, Sebastion, Vesta, and Rock

Sebastion is a kind gentlemen that serves Romana. If you want your son/daughter to become and artist, you need to talk to him a lot. Also, he'll give you stuff if you befriend him enough which is cool. He's strange though because he likes Romana... I swear I thought they were married, but they're not. Oh well...

I think it means wave. It was my ex's name, and she said that's what it meant. Plus, tsunami and all.

Big fan of the Harvest Moon games in general, though I'm not a big fan of this one. I'm a much bigger fan of HM64 or Magical Melody (the other Gamecube one). Still a solid thread, though.

Thanks! If I do rank characters from other ones (in the next off season of course), it'd be one of those two (N64 and Magical Melody). We'll see! :)

I have two problems with HM64... One minor problem is that I can't find hardly any graphics. The other is that it's been so long since I've played the game that I don't remember some of the characters that well, that my character ratings may be more off. However, I lot of people have played that game. We'll see! :)
And I can't wait for HMToT! XD

16. Rock



Rock

Rock is one of the three guys you can marry in the girl's edition. He's really cool, and is one of the few people that is in his twenties in the game. He never gets a job, I guess he's too cool for one or something... He's just a cool guy.
