The opening three-and-a-half minutes of the hit reality series' new season will be available to stream at http://cnet.com/survivor beginning Sept. 18 at 8:00 PM, ET, exactly one week before the show's premiere on the CBS Television Network. The exclusive first look will be shown in high-definition on CNET's new HD-video player, which launched this week.

I knew about this already and I just finished watching this. It is freakin' awesome. The music is similar to the music for the first season in Africa.

There is a series of opening contestant confessionals. This could be very important for edgic spoiling because, for Cook Islands, Fiji and Micronesia, the winner of the season gave one of the opening confessionals.

The contestants who give opening confessionals are Crystal, Bob, G.C., Ace, Matty and Marcus. Note that Marcus' confessional happens right after Jeff says "only one will survive to claim the million dollar prize." I hope that this is not a clue that Marcus wins. He is also the contestant that has been pimped the most in the promos.

The opening theme is included in the clip and is a typical Survivor opening which means it is Awesome. The contestants are not grouped by tribe in this opening which means that there will be a second opening which will be used throught the season till the merger occurs.

There are also some other new video clips. There is a video for Jeff's take on the contestants which was shot a few days after filming started. What Jeff says about each contestant is close to what he said during the TV Guide promo but is a bit more extensive.
