Yes, that's part of it.

And where the dirt of our planet came from and where it's going and the fact that it never never ends. Ever.

But it never begins either. Life on earth began, and one day life on Earth will be impossible. Our Sun will die and the only way our species will be able to survive is if we have successfully built space ships capable of generating energy out of seemingly nothing.

It is just another reason why atomic energy is so important. It's mankind's only hope to continue to live in our Universe, when our Sun is no longer strong enough to keep our planet warm. Or some other drastic change takes place in our solar system or our galaxy making life as we know it impossible.

Lucky for us Existence exists. Now that we're here, Eternity is in our grasp. We know that this planet wasn't always capable of sustaining life. It took a very long time to be habitable. The forces that act upon this planet are beyond our ability to change, but not beyond our ability to cope with.

And if catastrophic climate change is actually thousands or millions of years away, we'll still have plentiful and cheap energy to handle our exponentially increasing needs.
