I don't get much from this opening sequence, personally. It's much easier to rule out people then pick out people who do well. So basically, I think anybody just standing/walking can be ruled out as not a contender. As an editor, I would think you'd try and make the important characters stick out in some way... That being said, I focus on actions: Dan - carrying/dropping something (also has a group shot before his own)* Corinne - walking GC - walking Kelly - challenge shot Matty - boat shot (sticks out) * Susie - working Crystal - running Bob - working Ken - working Ace - pulling on rope * (also, next shot has similar set-up, but is a tree) Gillian - walking Randy - walking Michelle - walking Jacque - looking at someone (unique shot) Marcus - walking Paloma - walking Charlie - rowing? Sugar - working So we have Corinne, GC, Gillian, Randy, Michelle, Marcus, Paloma (7 people who are just walking / passive) Dan, Kelly, Crystal, Ace (4 people in a challenge / active, engaging) Susie, Bob, Ken, Sugar (4 people actively working at camp / active, but just there) Matty, Jacque, Charlie (3 people with very unique shots, doing something no one else is) Seems to me like the major players this season may be: Ace, Charlie, Crystal, Dan, Jacque, Kelly, and Matt The active/boring intro shots: Susie, Bob, Ken, Sugar ... I think it means they make an impression, but leave early Then the top 7 (the boring shots) ... they probably help the major players along somehow but fall short That's my opinion, going by intros of the past... What do you guys think?

Denise- Looking up Jean-Robert- Carrying log Todd- Throwing bamboo Leslie- Walking Dave- Beating up James Jaime- Running Frosti- Getting covered in mud Ashley- God knows what she's doing Chicken- Just sorta standing Sherea- Walking Peih-Gee- Dragging logs Erik- Dragging another log I really don't know how to classify those, but Todd and Courtney were major players in that season, and they were working actively at camp.

Everyone knows water = death in tons of previous seasons. Kelly, Matty, Ace, Jacquie, Marcus, and Sugar stand out the most to me form their intros.

And before Jacquie there is a 'mangoose' (in Portuguese we call Mangusto, I don't konw if in English it is mangoose or you give another name), and that animal eat snakes, which is the animal shown before Marcus... Interesting enough, it left Parvati last in the order I think the rest of the season, unless they changed the order again with the jury, but I'm not sure. But either way, Parvati's original order from the credits was 19th. So had they not removed opening credits, she'd remain at 19 probably.

There are several seasons where they switch up the order or remove the players that are gone, so I decided to only look at the initial order. Fairplay was the last in the credits in the Micronesia premier, but after he was gone, I think Parvati was last from then on.

Remember Marcus appears after the snake thing. So I guess Marcus decides to backstab Jackie at F4 and bring hated Corrine and Charlie to the F3, where Corrine or Charlie win hopefully. You should do a linear regression model on the effect of place in the intro has to do with the place they will finish in the game.
