The China press conference was three days before the premiere. The guy at realityblurred told me there would be one but he wasn't planning on participating
so I don't know the exact details. But there is supposed to be one.

Bad PR if they don't release some photos from the first few episodes.

I'm glad they haven't, because he always managed to let out some pretty spoilery statements ("biggest lie", "biggest regret",
"most controversial decision" etc) that can damage enjoyment of the show because then you are always "waiting" for those moments instead of
just taking them as they come.

^--- I know exactly what you mean, especially in regards to Survivor: Fiji. They started hyping that "most controversial decision" as early as the
Survivor: Cook Islands reunion show, and then it didn't even happen until the end of the season, so the whole time you're waiting for it to happen.
Personally I took the fact that they were hyping up that decision so early as a bad sign for the season. It was like saying "Hey, this season sucks, but ONE controversial thing does actually happen at some point, so tune in!" |

I am not sure to take this in a good or bad way. No "Most shocking decision ever!" could mean there is not only one big moment and nothing else like some people said, but it could also mean that there is literally nothing that happens. |
