Shit, I did the delete button thing that makes you go back a page on today's update, and so I'm too frustrated to do it today, however, since I just realized I mixed up Wu and Shu I have to go back and fix that so that's today's "update"

Guan Yu

Kingdom: Shu

The talest guy on the battlefield is freaking awesome. His deep, booming, dramatic voice is too. Also, he's very fun and simple to play as, so yeah, awesomeness, to keep it simple

Zhang Fei

Kingdom: Shu

Guan Yu's sworn brother is just slightly more awesome than him. His battle cry he does all the time when swinging his spear and other wild-man behavior is awesome on its own, but he is also like Guan Yu fun but also simple to play.

Wei Yan

Kingdom: Shu

Yet another awesome wild man, only even moreso. He doesn't even speak complete sentences because he's supposed to be this masked tribal beast or something, and he's RIDICULOUSLY fun to play as.

That's enough for today, I'll do 6-4 tomorrow and than the top three Sunday I guess. Than we can do a new list!

I just checked on Sango Fighter, all the characters are Three Kingdoms people, nice catch DC

Do you remember which two those were Spn?

Guan Yu and Zhang Fei are probably the first two. The third is probably Zhao Yun.

Fifth is defo Huang Zhong, and with my suspicion that these are the Shu characters, the 4th must be Ma Chao

Sima Yi

Kingdom: Wei

Sima Yi, like Zhuge Liang, is a strategist charachter that I had to learn to like, but once I did i fell in love. He's SO fun to play once you learn how to do so. You can't just unleash his Musou attack at any point you please like with a lot of charachters, it's terrible for use against enemy officers, and if you are ever fighting on a slope you'll waste it. But it is unparalleled for use on flat ground facing a large enemy force. He shoots beams of blue light from his hand and you can take out like 20 people with it, and leave the survivors highly weakened. Also, his dark and evil personality and his rivalry with Zhuge are also fun.

Pang Tong

Kingdom: Shu

Once my anti-strategist hatred subsided, I discovered that most were awesome, and Pang Tong is the best. I'll be honest, he's not very fun to play as at all. But his nonchalant attitude about battle and his out-of-place modern speech are really hilarius sometimes. I don't have any specific examples, but it's just really funny. So... he gets ranked very high, possibly too high.

Lu Bu

Now, let me say one thing first. The fact that Lubu is literally impossible to defeat during the campaign against Dong Zhou is annoying, but it's such an important part of the DW series and he's actually gotten harder [I've managed to defeat him in DW2 and DW3, but not yet in 4]. Playing as him is fun, but part of that is the fact that he wasn't playable for so long and so when you finally got to play as him you were like "Helllllll yessss, I'm fucking playing as Lubu now bitches" and even though he's not nearly as strong when you play as him you still get an awesome sense of kick-assery.

Sun Ce

Kingdom: Shu

"We've defended enough! Let's go let's go!"

Playing as this super-fast killer creature is sex, seriously. I like that he has a unique weapon and a unique personality [he's so freaking anachronistic sounding with his modern-young-teenager voice patterns which is good for laughos]. He deserves to be the highest ranked Shu for sure. [There is one representative from each kingdom including the "Other" category in the top 4, which I didn't even notice until now"]

He has an eyepatch because he got shot in his eye with an arrow and plucked his eye out and ate it. HE ATE HIS EYEBALL. Seriously, that's all I have to say about Dun.

Now this is actually another character who I refused to play as forever because I thought his design was boring as Mary Who, and because of his gimic being a "word gimic" [like Zhang He's beauty and Yuan Shao's elite] but once I played as him... I orgasmed. Seriously, he is the perfect character in playability. He has AMAZING reach, his attack just reach... out... so far. He's the only character with which I actually enjoy fighting on horses, no other character has that. All his charge attacks are awesome, but the most amazing thing about him... his Musou attack. GODLIKE. Not only is it not stationary, you can change direction and do it in a way that isn't confusing like a lot of others. And most important is the thing he does at the end, when he hurdles with his spear and slashes outward and can take out like three groups of peons in one slash. ZOMGASM!
