RNO: I feel a little silly asking you about this since you won it all, but why did you concede almost all strategy in the jury questioning, rather than coming up with at least one or two strategic things to talk about?
Bob: That was my strategy. My strategy was to let other people step up to the plate. Everybody who stepped up to the plate got whacked by the pitcher. That was a strategy. They consider a strategy to be planning it all out. My strategy was to stay under the radar and when I needed to win challenges, to win challenges.
Any wonder Bob was edited the way he was?
There's a road safety campaign in my area which features the slogan 'Speed kills'. When it comes to discussing this season, this should have been changed to 'Strategy Kills'.
It was obvious very early that this was one of the themes of the season. Strategy was edited as being deadly to the chances of those who tried to implement it. Ironically, it was the season's most strategic move (other than Jacquie's boot) that killed off any chance of having a strategic end-game. The move to get rid of Marcus also put paid to any chance of strategic fireworks in an end-game involving the Onions and Randy.
