What should we take from that? Was that part of the strategy? Was it to deflect the idol in case Dan had it? |

Aw, I want a Sugar/Ken F2. With Crystal as the F3 evil beyotch. Initial thoughts.... Sugar = CPP. She emerges as a player and kills her snake, after showing Matty that she isn't worthless in challenge. <333 Matty isn't our P hero this episode. He even skews N a bit. Crystal, Crystal, Crystal. Our Goddess of the Rice is such a negative nancy. I adore her. Susie's fun. I wish she had been shown more this season. Corinne finally becomes the bitch! Definite N there. Dan's OTT edit climaxes with lots of SPV about how OTT he is. Neato. Randy is LAME. Super-heroine Sugar even calls him out in the RC. Kudos to Sugar and Kenny for taking down the snake. Boo to Marcus getting another episode that cements him as the winner. |

hate to say it, but with Ace gone, Sugar's chances in the story goes way down. Her arc is complete unless a new one begins. But the previous edit was
about the possibility of an Ace endgame with Sugar wising up.

Loved Crystal -all wide eyed when she spilled the rice and then "those two asses in the boat...!"
I can dream but a Sugar, Ken, Crystal final three would be ideal. Lo and behold, Crystal will meet up with Randy at the merge -and there's even numbers Fang/Kota. weird seeing the screen shot of Colby giving Colleen immunity. And Colleen voting out Lex. Jerri complaining about Susie -is this another All-stars? |

OK this is my first time doing this
Marcus - CP4. He was shown strategizing all episode long and got several confessionals. In those confessionals, he was all business and sympathetic. Charlie - UTR1. One confessional, and in the background of several strategizing scenes. Corinne- OTTN4. She was going to get CP until she started talking about how she wanted to stab Susie. Finally, the bitch we heard about in episode 1 comes out. Bob- MORP3. He was shown as sympathetic during the letter scene, but never shown strategizing. Also, it is clear that he is STILL #5 in his alliance of 5, even with Jacquie gone. Randy- CP3. Finally shown as a strategic contributor for the Onions. Known to be a lock for F4 if the Onions stay together. Susie - UTR2. I didn't know exactly how to categorize her. As I said this is my first time. Dan - CP3. Dan clearly understood he was on the bottom all episode long, which shows strategic understanding (though no strategic strength.) Crystal - OTTN3. She got a GC edit with all her negativity and confrontation in the first half of the episode. Ken - CPP3. Clearly the best strategist on his tribe. Ace - CP3. He was the voice of reason several times on Fang this episode. Sugar - OTTP5. She was going to be CP for all her strategy talk, but her edit kept sucking up to her and never stopped. Matty - OTTN5. It was weird, because Matty's edit has been so positive up until now. But he was so frustrated with Fang the entire first half of the ep. With Ace's ouster, I can understand why Matty's edit suddenly shifted. Contenders: Marcus Long Shots: Ken Randy Eliminated: Sugar Crystal Matty Corinne Charlie Bob Susie

after first watch
i don't think sugar was OTT at all. to me it was clear as day that she was CP. kota corinne = OTTN4 (dan being a fatty, stabbing susie, "hate her") marcus = CP4 bob = MORP2-3 charlie = UTR1-2 susie = MOR2 randy = CPN3 or MORN3 (not decided - the N actually comes from negative SPV from sugar, etc) dan = MOR(N)4 (CP - knowing that he had to try to start something with corinne/marcus/charlie, OTT - everything else, including negative SPV from Corinne, Marcus, Randy) fang matty = OTTN5 crystal = MORN4 (don't see the OTT because she showed remorse about the rice and didn't eat in order to make up for it. definitely not fully CP though - may need to rewatch) sugar = CPP5 (DEF not OTT for me. that move was huge and showed sugar as a multi-layered player. we got to see the dilemma, the pros and cons of booting ace, her apprehension about trusting ken vs. ace. again, not OTT at all) ken = CP(P)3 (all business. the game goes his way, we get reasoning for his actions - he stays true to crystal. debatable P in the editing.) ace = CPM3 ...i've been reading this thread for a while...i wonder how on(or off) i am.... |

Marcus was definitely pushed over the top as far as winning is concerned. It's a mere formality at this point til the end.
But Matty is the one we are obviously supposed to be rooting for and loving. Let's hope he somehow gets new life at the merge. |

My initial thoughts...
Ace - MORN. This one's pretty obvious. Crystal - MOR. Typical OTTN Crystal doesn't seem quite OTT or N in this episode. At times she actually made me feel sympathy for her. Ken - CP. Lots and lots of strategy talk from Kenny this episode. We heard about him disapproving of Ace/Matty running the show, putting his faith in Sugar's hands, and his willingness to lie and cheat to get himself further in the game. Matty - OTT(N). He was borderline N this week. Very whinny and hopeless, but I guess Fang's constant losses justify this. I gave him OTT because he kept mentioning how much his tribe sucks over and over and over again. Sugar - CP. I don't think she was very positive this episode, but very complex. From her talk with Kenny to her concern about Ace, I think we really got into her head. Bob- OTTP. Wah, wah. I love my family! Charlie - UTR. One confessional. Not winning! Corinne- OTTN. She displayed very OTTN behaviour when she talked about stabbing Susie in the face! Finally the bitch comes out. Dan - MOR. Looks like they developed the reason for his boot very well! Marcus - MOR... ugh. I think the editors attempt to make him complex, but he's just too dull to leave much of an impression. Randy- OTTN. I see him crashing soon. He's very pompous, and his arrogant gestures at the reward challenge alone merits an N rating. Susie - MOR. She's not the brightest person out there...
