I havent seen any of these episodes yet, but over the summer I saw them in Times Square when I was going to a show. I saw a ton of girls with hideous dresses
and thought "these girls seem familiar" and it didnt hit me it was the Duggars until I saw Jim Bob.
I'm still shocked they would go to NYC, lots of bad evil stuff going on here. I'm gonna have to watch this show, I want to see this Cousin Amy. |

Y'all sure are quick to judge. Sure, they have an unusual family, but all of the kids seem to be happy and healthy and relatively well-adjusted. I think
it's kind of nice that there are children out there who are being raised to not be materialistic and self-centered.
Also, they make for good tv. |

Yeah, nothing says they're onto something like more overpopulation. You can't possibly raise that many kids on your own, but it's also not fair
for the older kids to have to become parental figures. It's never fair in any situation, but this isn't the case where the parents are incapable for
whatever reason. How many of these kids actually got be kids?

was just fascinated by the fact this woman had 17 kids and she was home schooling them.

I don't think any of these kids will be Rhodes scholars. Home schooling in this family is a relative term. I think they study math by just counting the
fingers and toes involved in the siblings.

I wouldn't rule it out. I don't think any of the Duggars would marry any of those kids from that California family. *gasp* The girls in that family... some of them wear PANTS! How immoral! Counting down the days until Josh and Anna Duggar announce they're continuing the Duggar family line... who here wonders if Anna ever even knew what a penis was before her wedding night? |

Re: home schooling, I think it was shown in one of the early seasons that all they study is: bible, business/household management (which is a front for making
the girls do even more chores), and something where Jim Bob takes the boys to construction sites and makes them help. Sadly, since the Duggar kids have been
drinking the Kool-Aid since birth, that's all the learnin' they're going to need. Except for Jinger. Please, god, let Jinger escape. There is hope
for her. She is not yet dead inside.
Wasn't it mentioned in the first season that the Duggars are tax exempt because their house qualifies as a church? Something about how they invite the neighbors over for Sunday services, Jim Bob preaches the good word, and that means they're a church. ? |
