Everyone has different reasons for who they are rooting for and as viewers who aren't there tasting the food, all we can do is go on what is being shown on
t.v. So, you have the visual of the food and what comments we are actually allowed to hear that are edited and it really doesn't give us a lot to go by.
Personally, based on the looks of the dishes that went out, I thought Team Pork looked the best. I was later surprised that it didn't go over so well with the judges.
Another thing is that everyone has different flavors that they like/dislike. So, something one particular judge may hate or find some flaw with, someone else might love it. So, everything is subjective and all anyone around these boards are doing is voicing their opinions, based on who knows what criteria. If we didn't post our opinions there would be nothing to post on these threads. Who cares if we're not there to taste the food?
IMO, Ariane was just being dragged along by the judges just for an instance like last night, when she is on a team of three with two other chefs with more experience/better resumes, and Ariane can be sacrificed to save the other two. There is always fodder dragged along and Ariane was fodder this season and last night she was booted so that the judges didn't have to boot Leah or Hosea yet.
I also thought it was funny that Fabio has been criticised for not having enough flavor in some of his last dishes (crab cakes & the wedding thing) and this last challenge it was the opposite, that his pesto had too much flavor and overpowered his sausage. Hopefully he finds the balance to please these judges and sails his way to the finale.
Stefan, Fabio, Carla for the finals!! I am now hopeful that Carla may actually make F4 with the post about Tom saying that someone who makes F4 will be a big surprise. As of now I am guessing the F4 will be Stefan, Fabio, Jamie & Carla. I hope either Fabio or Stefan win, preferably Fabio.
