(Tho -- I did see Coldplay licensed the song to be used throughout an episode of Medium just a couple of weeks ago, but of course that is their version, not someone else's) Coldplay may have stolen the melody from Joe Satriani, so who cares if AI stole it for their show?

"with three advancing into the top 12" means America votes and the top guy, top gal and next best advance? Or the four judges choose which three advance? I hope it is American chooses

THEN the judges will pick 3 of those performers to round out the top 12? sounds like a lot to cram into an hour to me.
