Ace B May 8th, 2009 at 7:52 pm Victoria it is not official until idol releases it. But it has been confirmed that idol has obtained the rights to use this song and Danny and Kris songs are out unless this is one of their perssonal picks. Also this might be another rumor, but it fits him perfect. I heard one place it was Foot Prints in the Sand! But Idol has obtained permission to use this song and also Prince has been contacted (source Twitter) confirming that maybe that Purple Rain might be a personal choice! |

He has it on his MySpace playlist, go have a listen. It isn't all weepy in that version either, it has a rock vibe. Its a good choice for him by Simon. I wonder if he read his playlist? LOL

Regarding Adam's song from Simon:
mjs has posted two different videos, one in which Adam clearly says he received a text from Simon to sing "One" by U2 and another video in which Adam clearly says he received a text from Simon to sing "Wicked Game" by Chris Isaak. It seems that they shot both, possibly in case one didn't clear? I'm not completely sure what's going on, but Adam does quite clearly say both songs, so it is definitely one of the two. |

on-point with his song choices.

Yeah, it's judge pick and contestant pick, so I imagine it would be 6 new songs. Maybe a reprise in the finale, but that's not always guaranteed.
I also love the fact they gave Kris a song they said would've been perfect for Matt. Eh, I guess they were interchangeable anyway.
