Clint took total ownership of his loss and was ready to be fired. He didn't connive anyone.
He told Trump the truth....it was his mistake but he wanted to stay.
Actually, Clint looked like an upstanding guy defending himself in the board room.

T- boz offered to lend support to Melissa in the boardroom ... not to throw herself under the bus ... as I took it. Loyalty is a virtue, I would think, in any organization. Trump just had an impulsive reaction to a GOOD thing ... cause of his buffoonery. Hellsafire ... just a few minutes earlier he was complimenting T -Boz on her good [albeit earlier] work. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Young Don seems more gentlemanly than his father. |

It's not Tionne's choice as to what she wants to accomplish in the board room.
When she volunteered to enter, she essentially volunteered to get fired. |

You're right. I agree ... she was just volunteering to help her friend, not to get fired. |

I think she volunteered to be an idiot.

The Tionne firing decision would have totally been perceived differently if it were a white male. Trump would have viewed it as loyalty, standing by the
leader, and would have not taken it as a "volunteer to be fired" opportunity.
What tionne should have said was that she volunteered to be with Melissa because Melissa SAID she would take full responsibility and essentially go home since no members of the team underperformed and deserved to be fired. |

What I don't get it is why Melissa didn't offer to have herself fired on the spot if she was talking about taking the blame and being fired, anyway.

From her website:
Well...well...well... I got canned. Okay and it's funny why did I laugh and say "Why are you firing me?" Anywho I was really ready to go anyway. I was tired of being tired. And not to mention over worked and hungry all the time. I had already set out to do what I came for and that was to raise awareness for Sickle Cell and winning money for the Foundation. I didn't care much plus Chase's birthday was the next day and I didn't want to work 17 hrs on her day, nor have I EVER missed my child's birthday. So honestly it was a Sucker Free Sunday decision on Donald's behalf that was like whatever dude! So now what is Sucker Free Sunday? Hey I don't know either, but it sounds good. Ok now if I hadn't got fired for volunteering to go back into the boardroom to support Melissa, I would have stood up for what I believed in... meaning just because the ALL company and Donald Trump didn't like the fact that we used "Little People" doesn't mean you should change how you feel about the video. Some of my team mates switched up their views. They liked it until he said he didn't. I don't respect that if you felt one way before you walked into the boardroom then you should stand by what you think and it should remain the same no matter who doesn't like it. SO I still liked the viral video and it was funny. The midgets that we used came from a casting agent and got paid for what they do, which is smart to me. But anyway it was a great avenue to raise awareness for my charity. That is the only reason I even did the show no more or no less. I met a lot of great people and experienced many things I probably would have never done. I do think it's an honor to work with Mr. Trump but I will never change for no one. I walked in as Tionne and walked out as Tionne. So I feel like a winner regardless because I remained myself. |

NO...Trump wasn't trying to save Melissa.
Trump made up his mind as soon as Tionne said "I'll volunteer to come back and support Melissa" (or whatever she said along those lines) that it was time for him to teach that lesson again. Cut and dried...no arguments accepted. If you wanna volunteer to go to the board room you should assume you'll be fired. LEARN IT! Trump tries to teach business lessons during this show ....he wants to hammer that message home. Never put yourself in a situation where you can only lose. |

Drew B wrote: Even though Tionne didn't have an opportunity to interject (it most likely caught her off guard) Melissa said twice that she only volunteered to do it as an advocate for her. Trump knew why she did it, he didn't care - she did it and signed her own pink slip by doing so. The blog entry also indicates she was ready to leave, she'd won for her charity and wanted to be with her boy on his birthday, so clearly we're more upset than she is. |

I'm never upset on the contestants' behalf. I don't give a shit if they're happy or not. I care because I would like to justify watching this
show. If the eliminations are nonsensical, then my watching has been a waste of time (and a waste of TWO hours per week rather than just one hour this year).

If he was judging the tasks alone Clint/Melissa should have gone home. Period. But HE'S NOT! That not how the world or business works. Do you think it's unfair that Trump (and a lot of people) don't like smokers? And that Trump would be unlikely to promote a smoker no matter how hard they worked? He makes judgements about different things. In this last episode, he thought Tionne and Chloe made bigger mistakes than just messing up the task. He wasn't rigging it for anyone. But don't kid yourself....he saw the commercials. Clint and Melissa's days are numbered. He knows it. |

TIONE WAS A LOSER!!!
Only a loser volunteers to go to the board room (like Brandon). Trump pointed it out HARD. Are you LOSERS still trying to say she deserved to stay more than Melissa or Clint? THEY never would volunteer to go to the board room. |
