Wherever it needs to be. The system as is, is fucked. The free-ish market produced all this wealth in the first place. These crises ought to be alerting
everyone to the basic tenets of the free market and its requirements to function properly.
Reclaim your inalienable rights. Write in a vote for the Individuals' Party. |

i love the nofx song with the lyric "the president's laughing cuz he voted for nadar". seriously, we dont really get to choose who we vote for.
if we did, um hellos id be a voter. it's so lame and both candidates are mega fucking tards. maybe... MAYBE id vote for obama if i voted but only if he got
rid of that disgusting nasty huge mole on his face. how gross to have a possible president with a gigantic mole on his face. he also has no sense of humor and
his wife looks like omarossa. that last part isnt really a bad thing, but it's still strange to me. also his kids are fucking dorks.

We don't get to choose, do we, not really. We pick a rep, which helps choose the ruling party.
But when you look closely, don't you find that a lot of the issues deemed of such great importance ought not to be up for "political party" grabs? They should be issues that are resolved and in fact can be resolved when one eliminates the illegitimate uses of coercion now permitted in our society. Vote for the Individuals' Party and claim your inalienable right to life, liberty, property, pursuit of happiness and freedom from coercion.

Vote to end routine attacks on ourselves by our government.
Vote for Inalienable Individual Rights. The Individuals' Party. Don't forget the apostrophe. |

It's not like this party is really going to win, after all. Wouldn't it be cool tho, if we registered enough votes to get noticed? Send a message to
make them sit up and take notice.
Look. If you or your loved one needed a medical operation, would you hire any of these clowns to perform the operation? Would you hire a doctor who, instead of fixing a broken bone, proceeds to break other bones? The credit crunch is occurring because there was too-easy credit. We're awash in credit, so now it's time to find out which of those loans will be paid and which will become bad debt. Bad debt is actually just goods nominally in the name of the wrong person. Throwing more credit into the ring is only worthwhile if there is actual value there. But it takes time for the market to review the goods and for a buyer of them to name a price satisfactory to the seller, which is the holder of the debt - the one who nominally agreed to the original loan. And that is a job for the free, unhampered market place, where individuals are free to inspect, ask questions, and decide whether or not to invest. If something sits there for a long long time, its value will go down, until it reaches a price where once again, someone is willing to step and take over making the payments on the loan. That's the nuts & bolts of solving the credit crisis - finding borrowers willing to pay the debt. Cleaning up the financial system means selling off huge chunks of government "stuff" to private enterprise, so those services and goods which should be privately owned, can find buyers. Insurance companies are among the wealthiest groups and can be counted on to sign up for many of these loans once the price drops to proper reflection of values. For example, the land in Louisiana is NOT worth what it says it is on paper. The location is one too prone to flooding to permit "olde-style" construction. A brand new approach is needed. More government intervention, trying to direct the free unimpeded marketplace using the force of government, would be just like a doctor breaking more bones instead of setting the one already broken. The individuals who work in government have, in the marketplace, the same power as any other individual, which is the purchasing power of private individual funds, our earnings. Government services in the pursuit of safety for all include the judicial system to settle disputes and to judge criminal charges, the police to protect us from domestic criminals and the armed forces to protect us from foreign invasion. There are many who think fire department should also be a government service, and I think we could find that most of us would respond better to our local fire departments, sending in our yearly contribution in order to have the service available for our whole area. I'd like to see it happen such that people actually got refunds from the fire department. How many of us buy lottery tickets? Who wouldn't buy a fire department lottery ticket? Think how easily money would be raised for a fire department budget, if we raised the money by lottery tickets? Government's role is to provide a safe playing field, not an equal one. Vote to run your own life. Vote for the Indivduals' Party. |

I didn't read any of that, but this caught my attention as I scrolled:
Government's role is to provide a safe playing field, not an equal oneI thought everyone could agree that govt. should strive for an equal playing field. You are krazy with a k. |

She keeps talking and talking. Is she talking about "no government" or libertarianism? Because it was that and deregulation and the lack of oversight
that's got us in the economic mess we're in right now.

Here in the United States, when we walk outside, we're not harangued for three hours by crazy ladies talking about coercion and how the government should
stop funding fire departments because a lottery system would work better.
