I've worked out religiously for the last 2 1/2 years at least 3-4 days a week. Mainly all weight training. Over two weeks ago I fractured my heel and
have been on crutches since. Consequently, I didn't work out for about 2 weeks. Today, I decided to get back by doing some light chest & arms.
Surprisingly, I had a great workout tonight and even hit my max with ease. I feel like that two weeks off really helped.
For those of you who work out, do you ever take an extended rest period? If so, does it help you?
Also, do you stick to a particular routine?
