As far as the Tocantins alliances, here are the ones I'm planning to include as of right now. Let me know if I should include anything else and I'll consider if they were shown/important enough.

The Warrior Alliance (Coach, Tyson, Stephen, JT, Debbie)
The Exile Alliance (Brendan, Taj, Stephen, Sierra)
JT, Stephen, Taj, Erinn
Joe/Erinn


Not sure about:
Joe/Sydney/maybe Spencer (Spencer was never included in this group on TV)

Why is everyone hating on Kucha? They were the much more popular tribe during Australia's original airing.

Well obviously Brendan/Sierra

The early Timbira alliance was Debbie/Coach/Tyson/Sierra-- which could be cut to Debbie/Coach/Tyson because of the obvious split.

JT/Stephen maybe

If there is a final two included in another alliance, I'm not making a separate entry for it. If I did, there would probably be over 250 of them, most of which repetitive.

Joe/Sydney/Spencer are more of an alliance than Erinn/Joe imo

Again, was Spencer ever included with them on TV? Erinn and Joe at least had the Exile relationship although I know Sydney and Joe were shown strategizing.

Ok, I don't know why I keep stalling. Screw it. I'll do Tocantins after I complete the entire list. Next two or three depending on how much time I have will be up tomorrow night.

10. Stephenie and Bobby Jon

I don't care who you are or what you say now, you loved Stephenie and Bobby Jon during Palau. There was no possible way you didn't. These two were incredible underdogs who did their best to fight against adversity. They did their best to pull off a win, yet time and time again their tribe came up short.

Yes, I hate Palau as a season because of a couple ridiculous twists and a bloated cast of mactors, but those two aren't even the biggest reason. I hate Palau because every single one of the good characters was on Ulong. I did like Gregg and Ian at points in the season, but Angie, James, Bobby Jon, and Stephenie were the only four people worth watching. I hated Koror as a whole for being boring, and I despised how they kept winning challenges and forced Ulong to suffer through tribal council over and over again. Once the dead weight was lost (in everyone except Jolanda) and Ibreham was saved, the four great characters were forced to turn on each other. While Bobby Jon and Stephenie were my third and fourth favorites on the tribe, I was incredibly happy to see them as the last two standing. After Ashlee and Jeff wanted to quit, these two kept pushing on. They were hard workers in a season full of duds. They wanted to play the game, but the circumstances wouldn't give them the chance.

When they were brought back on Guatemala, I was in shock in a good way. While it was ridiculous for two people who could never win anything to get a second chance because they sucked so much, I was enamoured by the two of them in Palau. Bobby Jon did not disappoint as he continued being a hard working good guy with the occassional meltdown in challenges. Stephenie pulled a 180 and turned out to be a complete bitch, but it was nice to see the two of them continue their alliance at the merge when Steph targetted Brandon instead of Bobby Jon. Bobby Jon could have went even further had Gary not found the HII.

The funny thing is that over two seasons and nine tribal councils together, Stephenie and Bobby Jon only voted together three times. They voted for Ashlee, Kim, and Ibreham. Obviously, Stephenie changed her vote a couple of times after the tie, but she helped force a tie once against Bobby Jon. Technically, the alliance might not have been strong. We found out that Bobby Jon hated Steph's whiney attitude in Guatemala, but I still think of the two as a pair because they helped bounce the worthless Ibreham at the final 11.










9. Rudy and Rupert

Like Stephenie in Palau, I don't think it was possible to hate Rudy or Rupert in their original seasons. While I ended up hating Rupert towards the end of All Stars, we all adored him after he stole Morgan's shoes with his pilliging pirate attitude. These two were the most popular players in Survivor history going into All Stars, and you could make a good case that they still maintain that title in terms of casual viewers.

Yeah, I know. They only lasted two episodes together. They didn't accomplish anything. They sided with Jenna Lewis. How are they in the top 10? Well, I was still a huge Rupert fan during the first two episodes. He hadn't built a swimming pool yet, so there was no reason to hate. Rudy was almost as lovable as before, and I was ecstatic to see the two of them randomly align. And random it was especially in the way Rudy threw out the question. The two shook hands, and they agreed to never vote against each other. Like Ethan and Tina before them, I've always respected Rupert for not voting for Rudy on his way out the door even if it made him look like an outcast. He didn't care. Well, he didn't know how to play the game, but he was loyal to his partner in crime.

Had the two of these guys sided with Tina and Ethan to take out Jenna and Jerri, the foursome would without a doubt be in the top 5 at the very least, but they can't make it any higher. They let themselves get manipulated by two bitches, and I was not happy at the time, especially with the way they were backstabbed the very next episode. So what if Rudy couldn't walk? He was more entertainment than pretty much everyone else in the cast. Just look at his final words.
