Anyone see such a wonderful film? It was full of Beatles songs and theatricals.
I loved it!

I wondered what kind of audience would appreciate that mindless crap.

Yeah, I thought it was pretty boring. Although, I think I hated Moulin Rouge more.

Yeah, well did you see the new Indiana Jones movie?
Don't get me started on that piece of warm crap. |

Yeah, the ending of new Indy was quite the turd. And I was so excited about it, too!!

WTF was that anyways? Was Spielberg trying to fuse Indy & Close Encounters together.
Utter Crap. Although The nuke scene was pretty cool. |

I tried to watch Across the Universe when it debuted on cable a few weeks ago, but I couldn't handle more than 15 or 20 minutes.

I thought Across the Universe, Moulin Rouge, and Indy 4 were all excellent films.

I dunno about excellent, but all three *were* better than The Happening. So, I'll give them that.

Yeah Jess, that movie sucked donkey balls. I watched Walk Hard over the weekend, which also sucked donkey balls.

"Across the Universe" had some great sequences. I really liked "Come Together" and "She's So Heavy". Not a bad movie.

The first three = nazis because it was the late 30s, early 40s and perhaps (?) that was a theme for b-movies then (I really don't know.... only a guess)... for the new movie (based late 50s) B movies were more focused on commies, nuclear explosions and aliens. Hence the nuking of the fridge and 'out-there' ending. |

The first half hour and the last 45 minutes of "Across the Universe" were great. The middle "Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds"drug part
sucked.
That version of "Let it Be" is one of the best covers ever. The cast (Even Rachel Wood aside) were talented fucks. Especially the singer chick. |

I just watched "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" that was some funny shit.
Not Anchorman/40 Yr Old Virgin funny, but close. |

If you have Across the Universe on the tube and just listen to the songs while surfing the net, it's really good. Don't know about the plot, but
I'm enjoying the tuneage.
