I went shopping and two people parked really close to my car on both sides. Trying to squeeze in I nearly took my ear off on the door. It's bleeding very little, but I swear it's only hanging on by a mere thread. A mere thread! It looks normal from the front, but it must be just hanging on. You'd think tearing off an ear would bleed more... oh well. Maybe it just hurts a hella lot... but you can never be too careful. Anyone know about home microsurgery reattachment?

Fix it and keep working. Maybe letting the dog lick it and applying pressure for a couple hours will make it reattach.

There absolutely nothing physically wrong with it accept for a small scratch. From this and the pain, the only conclusion I can logically come to is that the ear is detached inside and just floating in the skin. That or there is nothing wrong at all. IT'S THE EAR I REALLY LIKE TO SLEEP ON!!!!

If you have damage to the eardrum, the doc might feel you should take antibiotics. Do you want to the technical description from my Take Care of Yourself book? It has sections on ear pain, loss of hearing, and ear discharges. Do you have loss of hearing?
