Is it the most popular Survivor-related website available (other than CBS.com)? I asked because most castaways post here yet the premise of this site is
mean-spirited. If it's the biggest Survivor-related site out there, then do Mark Burnett and co. lurk here?

We know the producers definitely lurk/post here - for example, after Coby was voted out (but before the reunion) show, he posted here, revealing his identity.
Straight away, they gagged him, reminding him of his non-disclosure contract. So they obviously spend a fair bit of time going through the threads here.
Also, in the Sucks Spoilers section, it is pretty much accepted that each season MB and Co. post false spoilers to throw everyone off, but you can usually spot
them a mile away.
As for Survivors themselves, some of them post at TWOP, but Sucks is accepted as the main site to post in, even though it is "mean spirited" as the first poster said. Even if people slam the show, they still watch it. But I think most of us like it too. |

Yes. If I am not mistaken. Probst said ni one conference that they do the show for their fans so prolly, they lurk here and they even know what to do for their
editing, I think they edited Mary's chracter for us and now, Marcus.

Before Pearl Islands, I visit CBS.com and SurvivorFever.net more than any other Survivor-related site. But since Pearl Islands, Sucks is the one I visit 90% of
the time.

Our traffic still manages in the tens of thousands of unique visits per day, with spikes on Thursdays and Fridays. Keep in mind that we're a main hub for
TAR, BB and AI as well so they're responsible for a portion of it.
Are we the biggest Survivor site besides CBS? Possibly. We're the biggest forum by far. Fever may still outdraw us. There's a "survivor.com" that isn't really part of our splinterverse, and I have no idea what they're all about, but they probably do okay considering they show up first when googling "survivor". We don't show up until page 2, mainly because of huge reference sites like wiki, imdb, tv.com. Nevertheless, I daresay that if you like or hate the show, this has always been the place to be, and always will until it finally and mercifully peters out into heat death. eta the higher-ups do read the board...EPM and Probst probably couldn't care less anymore but the rest of the production staff likely has us in their daily bookmarks. When spoiling was bigger and still a "game" they threw our usernames around the office as though it were a chatroom.
