I'm glad UNC lost. I was sick of the "golden boy" and "one of the best teams ever!!!oneeleven" shit. No offense Harold, and besides,
it's good to get a loss, undefeated is overrated. But your boys better learn some D and fast.

I'm getting a little excited about UNLV. It's been hard, going from being the most exciting program in college basketball to just another sucky team.
The current team isn't reminiscent of the early 90's teams, but they are 13-2 and won at Louisville last week.

Don't speak if you don't know what the fuck you're talking about. UNC lost because they missed a shitload of free throws and didn't rebound well against a team they took for granted. Had they hit half the freebies they missed, BC would be just another statistic. But then you didn't watch the game, did you?

Oh, I watched it. And there was very little D on UNCs end. Defense wins championships. I think I would understand this loss a bit better if it was an away
game, but it was at home and that's really baffling to me. BC looked really good too. BC followed the blueprint Kansas laid out to beat you guys last year.
I'll be expecting a few more losses through conference but that doesn't mean you're not still the best team in the country, just means the whole
field this year is very weak.

You said that UNC needed to learn some D. Either you want to gloss over the missed free throws and lack of first half rebounding (BC had 13 offensive rebounds
in the first half), or you want to ignore the fact that this is the FIRST time UNC's defense has been found lacking, given that they've beaten every
other opponent by at least 16 points.
They played like shit for one game. One. |

The king is dead.
A telltale sign that somebody has never participated in sports of any kind, saying a loss is good or it's good to get a loss. Retarded. |

UNC fans are UP IN ARMS over the loss. Exhibit A:
I didn't care to watch the game, but I'm guessing sound from the male cheerleaders nervously pounding their megaphones as the drama wore on almost drowned out the crowd noise pumped in by the Dean Dome PA staff.

Friends ask me all the time who I think is going to win a game. Here is how it went tonight.
Hey, can Arkansas beat Texas tonight? Yes, anybody can beat anybody, anytime, if things go right. OK, then, will Arkansas beat Texas tonight. No, Texas is gonna run over them. Thanks. |
