RIP Margaretta
Easily one of my favorite teams in the first season, and one of the best of the whole series. She was so fun to watch on the show, and you could tell that her and Dave were perfect for each other. Like Kitty said, the first tragedy of a major reality star on CBS, between TAR, Survivor, and Big Brother. I'm curious as to how they will handle it, if at all. |

it's interesting, because I hadn't seen TAR1 until two days ago... so, had this happened two days ago, I wouldn't had known who she was...but now, i'm really sad. They were a great team, and you could tell she was living her life to the fullest and she wanted to be there so badly. I really liked them as racers, they had great spirit, and I was sad when they got eliminated... stupid taxis going to Eljem |

That's how they lost? I could've sworn they lost because Dave jumped over the gate to grab the sword, grabbed one for Rob & Brennan since he was
already in there, and then Rob & Brennan took off while Dave was still on the other side.

They were the first ever sad elimination on the show - and their brave climb to get the Fast Forward (after Rob/Brennan said that no other team would be tough
enough) was what hooked me on the show. Unlike most older teams, who got eliminated for being tired or generally inept, they just got a dose of terrible luck
with their money-changing.
Margaretta a great addition to the Amazing Race and life in general. She will be sorely missed

dryedmangoez, thank you so much for sharing that video. I loved how she took the disappointment of being eliminated and I loved how the other
teams supported them. You are right, there has never been another like it, because there has never been another Margaretta.
