Anyone thinking Crystal is throwing comps on purpose? |

Just curious. She's turning out to be a lot more astute than I thought she'd be, so now I'm wondering how much of her physical patheticness has
been gameplay

Hmmm...interesting. I mean she still looks fit. They haven't been eating much but no one looks like they are wasting away so it can't be that bad.
It will be interesting to see if she all of a sudden, when its individual, that she starts to shine. It would be a pretty smart strategy, but she has been incredibly weak... She has been a good strategist though...its surprising. Kenny and her are a good team and very very tight. The tightist team out there imo. Others will want to split them up as soon as they can. |

I'd like to think so because it would be a much better angle than "former Olympian who manages to utterly suck at every single challenge". It
would take a lot of restraint to be throwing challenges when your tribe is dwindling but again, who knows. I think maybe she was holding back a bit but giving
her credit for throwing these challenges seems a bit too much like some people giving Chicken George on BBAS credit for pretending to be horrible at strategy
while secretly being good and then he admits he sucked up the whole game. I assume this will be what Crystal has to say, that she held back but the lack of
food, sleep etc. kept her from doing her best.
I just can't see anybody in her position throwing all those challenges and being deft enough to look so horrible in some of them the way she has. -SJ™ |

Playing Will Kirby's card? Might work, but it is still team challenge, so that is still risky.

I thought about it, but wouldn't she tell the audience what she was doing so she didn't look so stupid?

Interesting anyways. She was certainly playing that card last night with Susie - "oh look at me, I totally suck at challenges anyways".
Given that most people would look at her and immediately categorize her as a physical threat, it would be pretty brilliant for her individual game if she has been doing this all along. But yeah, not so sure thats what actually is happening. Also makes me wonder seeing as right from Day 1, the first challenge she stunk. She couldn't get up that hill, and she may not have even been in the lead for the footrace. She wasn't affected by the conditions at that point |

Yes, it is possible. That, or she really does suck. If I were her, I would be "playing the part".

She hasn't always been assured of the majority on Fangtard so I doubt she'd deliberately be so poor as to lose immunity challenge after immunity
challenge. As it is it has taken multiple producer interventions to keep Crystal and her little spazz-wrangler in the game with a fighting chance. There's
absolutely no way her suck isn't 100% au natural IMO.

I think she just genuinely sucks. Plus, I'm not sure I'd call her astute. Like many past survivors, the dumb bitch forgot that she needs these people
to vote for her is she makes it to the end. She didn't have to lay it on so thick with Marcus. We saw her promise not to write his name down at least
twice....she may have promised even more that we weren't shown. She went way overboard sucking up to Marcus, then stabbing him in the back. She sure as
hell isn't getting his vote if she makes it that far.

No she's not. I doubt she'd risk her life in the game by pretending to be weak and making them purposely lose the tribal ICs.

I started thinking this for the first time last night. She lost that IC in two seconds. Nobody is *that* bad - are they?? |

I thought about it, but wouldn't she tell the audience what she was doing so she didn't look so stupid?Yeah, because the contestants have so much control over what part of their confessionals are shown to the audience. |

I agree, but if she does win, Probst will be an asshole about it as usual as claim that she triumphed over adversity by being on the "WORST TRIBE
EVER".

Licorice wrote: lmao reminded me of that show endurance where this one girl got eliminated from a challenge literally right after the host said "go". they were suspended midair over the sea and hold on to a rope. her partner going off on her afterwards was pretty funny. it was so sudden and random like crystal. maybe crystal has to eat alot of food to maintain energy (cuz she's massive) also idk why she did so bad in the first challenge, but was she wearing heels and a dress? |

Just curious. She's turning out to be a lot more astute than I thought she'd be, so now I'm wondering how much of her physical patheticness has been gameplayNone. That'd be a REALLY SUPER EXTREME "under the radar" strategy. But her lack of challenge proficiency means nothing, because "Nobody outwits the Crystal Cox, baby!" This all adds to Crystal's goddess-like status amongst mortal men. She cannot be outwitted, and will tell people to GO HOME. Besides, her excuses are always the best. "My shoes were so heavy!" "Those poles were a hard fit or something!" "I couldn't move that rowboat!" Crystal always finds a way to blame lesser, inanimate objects for her challenge woes. |
