Say, i go to work to buy food. First, the govt taxes my income, then when i use this income to buy food, they also tax the same money AGAIN. This doesn't make any sense. Why tax the same money twice? It would make sense to have sales tax ONLY if they remove the income tax. Otherwise, the sales tax should be removed. It's an infringement on your constitutional rights. It's outrageous, egregious, preposterous.

Are you ready to pay 24 to 30 percent sales tax on almost all goods and services?

Prepared food is taxed regularly. I always wondered if that 2% was Louisiana's tax or a federal tax. Could someone please explain the Estate tax to me? That is hugely wrong in every way.

Whenever I do my taxes online when I get done with the Federal part, and then it says to continue to your State Taxes Click Here, I'm always cheering since I get to skip it. (And and even bigger YAY to the Tampa Bay Area! Wooooooooo!) Oh, and you should move to New Hampshire - They have NO sales tax (but you pay out the wazoo in state income tax, I've heard).
